Thats actually a very good idea, regarding the weight distribution.
Can be shot without ear-pro. That's all we know.
Why did you shorten the hand guard on the AX? The barrel seems to fit through the short piece.
Why no plastic/rubber?
Just looks like a hacked up AX for not particular purpose. Sorry to shit on your project but it doesn’t appear to do anything a standard rifle with silencer does. You say you can shoot without ear protection has this been metered as hearing safe?

Yeah, no worries, we still have a replacement forend lying around, if it's that what you meant. Should we sell the rifle at one point, that customer would most likely want an original forend on it. That was just some personal fooling around, to make it look less-military, clean and somewhat like the DVL-10 (no fanboy).
