Zero Compromise scope.

@usafa77 where do you send it for service? I'm worried I have a tracking issue on mine. Will hopefully be going to the range tomorrow and I'll run a tracking test there.

Happy to hear that their customer service is tops.

Reach out to them via email and they’ll send you a service authorization form to fill out. It has the shipping info on it.

He didn't spell it out but at some point you don't need a decoder ring. It's clear he's talking about a scope and the initials are ZCO. It can just be Googled.
It's clear your an asshole Nate. It takes less time and effort to just type out Zero Compromise Scopes than the drivel you posted.

Save your google search lectures for some who gives a shit about what you think.

I already looked it up before I asked, but what I was trying to call attention too was the OP giving major prop's to a Company doing all kinds of outstanding service, and not mentioning the full company's name or link for others less inclined to go searching.

Newbie's might even be reluctant to ask questions just because of getting responses like yours, Nate. And I'm not a newbie, Lad......

ZCO isn't some made up acronym for a super secret company. They literally get called ZCO in almost all cases.

I don't think he's going to be receptive to it. He's "not a newbie..." but also doesn't know one of the most popular scope brands on here. But then I looked at his profile picture and it clicked.

Does anyone know if ZCO offers a service to change the reticle in an optic?
I picked up a used scope but doesn't have the reticle I wanted. I'm gonna try it first and maybe I'll get used to it so just curious for now.

Only on the hide. First you call me out. So you looked it up before you asked, and stiil had to make your clever comment? The less clever comments we get on the hide, the better. Clever commenters get ignored. Then you call out the guy who gives you a simple explantion of how things work. Congratulations you get to swear on the web. It's good to get all that anger out, it will eat you up inside. I'm not a doctor but you might want to up your meds. I understand that agent orange is a bad deal. I assumed anyone reading the optics thread ( which starts with the pinned ZCO thread) would know what ZCO stands for. I was wrong, there is one. Actually there are probably 2 or 3 but the others said ( to themselves) I wonder what that is? Looked it up and filed it away - Expensive scope- glad to hear the customer service is top notch. There are literally 7 or so brands of scope that everyone on here uses, and they are discussed in the optics forum. You are wrong about newbies- if you said what is ZCO , the newbies get the answer. If you are clever the newbie says , what an idiot. So to answer your question-You did not receive the secret decoder ring because they are not included in the box with the Tasco scopes.

It would be more cost effective to sell that scope then to request a reticle swap from ZCO, it's like going to a car dealership with a 2023 model and asking them to swap in a 2024 engine and everything needed to run correctly. Some scope manufacturers have their scopes designed to be easily serviced, that is not the case with ZCO.

Much appreciated. I’ll try it and go from there. Scope hasn’t even made it onto a rifle yet. It might not go on the rifle I had originally intended but I’m sure it’ll find a home on something in the safe

Best reticle they've got :)

Why do you want to switch?
I'm going to try it first, but I've been using a Christmas tree reticle for so long that I'm not sure how I'll like it. I had planned for it to go on an ELR rifle but I'm just uncertain. Inside of 2K I find basically only miss windage wise but out farther depending on wind and terrain I find there can be more elevation error, I'm just worried about measuring two directions with out Tree reticle might be harder but I'm gonna try it first. If I hate it I'll stick it on something I only shoot closer ranges and keep an eye out for another one. The price was right on this one.

Honestly, I'm over tree reticles. I'm not doing any PRS type matches any more where you may need to engage without dialing for elevation. I'm mostly doing longer range shooting where reticles like the MPCT1 are superior due to reduced clutter.

I was thinking about the reduced clutter also, might be nice. We'll see. Another fear would be having to hold elevation and wind.
