As I type this they are now reporting shooter was 200-300 yards away and fired 8 rounds from an AR-15 style rifle according to a SS update.

Chip shot for a hi-power rifle. Definitely tough for a .22 in wind.

They are saying 150ish yards? A chipshot for us. But still how can the SS overlook this position?

I don’t think even a head shot from a 22 at 125 yards would leave the pool of blood photographed in the stands. An ER doc was next to the victim who left it and said there was brain matter exposed. I’m guessing suppressed AR.
That isn't going to blow out the back of a persons head at 100-200yds. I think suppressed fire.
