Just picked up a receiver set. Not sure if I’m going 308 or 6.5 creed. I have both barrels in steel proof barrels. Was thinking maybe just going CLE?

@bigjake83 is that proof research carbon fiber barrel still holding up well? I’m thinking about having Craddock install one on my SP10.
I pulled that barrel after switching back to a Bartlein. With the issues Im having with Proof I honestly can't recommend thier barrels anymore.

Are those issues you are having with Proof specific to gas guns only?
With Proof specifically, the quality of work has substantially gone down. The chambering work that I've seen in that last few barrels I've borescoped looked like they used a broken reamer.
Along with the quality of their work going down their customer service was difficult to say the least.

I posted this in the GAP10 forum as well but, still haven't had any responses. Anybody seen this happen to a BCG? Rifle belongs to a friend of mine who is having a hell of a time with this issue. This is borescope video through the tail end of a gap10 bcg it's one of the ones built on the seekins receivers. Almost looks like a bushing is in there where the firing pin should rest. When the "bushing" for lack of a better term is slid back the firing pin retaining pin will not fit behind the firing pin and the rifle will not function. I've never seen this happen but I don't own any seekins or GAP10's. Do any of yours do this?
The only thing that I can think of is the collar on the firing pin sheared off from the shaft. Is he the original owner, and has there been any overpressure events or pierced primers? What does the firing pin look like, and is it the original FP?
