Agreed, except that I think the 'connivance' was lackadaisical, not malicious. The appointed SS leaders aren't serious people. They didn't understand the reason more agents were requested, thought the requests were being originated by Trump and representative of an egocentric desire to raise his status to that of POTUS, ignoring the SS detail leads making the request simply because the 'leaders' thought the detail had been captured under Trump's sway.
These are the same type of people who arbitrarily limit the number of helicopters on a rescue mission (Carter administration), refuse to send tanks or Bradleys to Mogadishu requiring a rescue mission to proceed through a hostile city in unarmored HMMWVs for fear of appearing too hostile and refuse to accept bin Laden (Clinton administration), refuse to reinforce the US consulate in Benghazi (Obama administration), and refuse to listen to the military leadership on the ground as they abandon Afghanistan and get Abbey Gate (Biden administration). And, they are NEVER held to account for the people who died from their cavalier mistakes.
Really, the American people own this, for being gullible enough to buy into the BS propaganda instead of bothering to make the effort to be informed. As Heinlein said, democracy is finding out what the people want and then giving it to them... good and hard.

Wow. She said that only one sniper took only one shot! That pretty much turbocharges all the conspiracy theorists who are doing the audio analysis, and identifying different sounding gunshots. I had pretty much dismissed all that over the videos, but now I'll have to go back and look at them, because if her statement is true the evidence may contradict is completely...
