    Join the contest below and share a picture of your kid or college student out at the range, cleaning their rifle, or shooting at a target! When you submit, go ahead and include a picture and a brief story or description to go along with it.

    We'll be running the contest until August 8th, whichever post has the most reactions wins and you can post multiple times.

    Winner gets: a Sniper's Hide hat, shirt, and a few stickers

    My daughter and our dearly beloved Foul Mike on a chilly morning at the range.

    Foul Mike taught her how to tie a boot lace to make a solid shooting stick rest with any sticks in the woods.
    She still has those sticks, a prized possession.

    And she does have old friends though!!! (They tolerate me to hang with the cool 12 yr old)

    Foul Mike always brought her a different old .22 to shoot and they had a hoot!

    just a fun range day with the kids a few years back.kids are older now my daughter is still using a 22 and my son has since graduated to shooting all my rifles . it was my daughters second time going. my daughter was 3 in the picture. she wanted to go so she could shoot like her brother and I.

    last pic is from this past year. my sons first time out coyote hunting with the thermal and his first pasture poodle.

    He’s a bit older than the other submissions, but he’s my kid. Gotta police the brass at all of the lines- even the pistol bays. Having a brass catcher is better than bending over and picking it up myself. Good thing “mom” left her glove in the pickup. Yeah, he gets to shoot too, and I take my turn as brass catcher. I need to get him on the reloading press…

    Great contest idea.

    My little dude’s first time shooting a .22. He was so proud of his first hit on steel he demanded I send a photo to Mom, immediately;

    I really need to take more photos. We’ve had lots of range time this summer, but it’s hard to remember to stop having fun blowing up pop cans and clays to memorialize it. He’s going to lose it when he finds out he needs to share the deer blind with his younger sisters this year...

    She attained USFS Gold level at 15 which is unheard for our area. Bigger metro area kids get that level by 12 or younger just because ice is plentiful and there’s a lot more coaches. I have a new truck tied up in her legs LOL. Damn it’s expensive and I have 2 more years to go.

    It looks identical to mine, which shoots lights out, period

    Yes. Whitetails Unlimited model. It had been shot before me otherwise it would have stayed in its box unfired. They were worth some bucks for a while. It does shoot very well, almost unbelievable. That era of rifle was excellent.
