Anyone else still waiting for their BOGO can from SilencerCo‘s sale last year to drop? The Hybrid 46 I bought to get the BOGO deal has been out of jail for a few months now, but the ‘free’ can (Omega 300 for me) still hasn’t been built…or at least assigned a serial number.

Got the confirmation email on 4 Aug ‘23, so coming up on a year, and I still have to do the form 4 wait after that once I have a serial number, so likely yet another year after the damn thing’s built/assigned to me.

Kind of starting to piss me off now that I’m thinking about it.

If anyone got theirs, what was your wait time for the can from SiCo? Not the form 4 processing time, the time for SiCo to make your can.

    Thanks in advance…

Edit: Serial # finally assigned after just over a year; see post(s) below.

I've had the omega for nearly a year now, and that was on the standard 9ish month form 4 wait back then. I didn't get in super fast or anything on the bogo either. I ever being annoyed mine took so long to ship back then.

I'd definitely hit them up and ask. I haven't seem anyone saying their still waiting for a few months this now.

Just went and checked, I did the form 4 for the free can on 5/31/22.

I'm in the same boat with the OP. Bought a 36m during the bogo, it was approved in January, still waiting on my omega 30.

I called them around the end of march and I was told some bogo orders could take up to 18 months to fulfill. Orders are filled in order of purchase so that'll put me pretty far out. I think I got mine towards tge end of the bogo.

The thing that pisses me off is I know several people that have recently gone out and bought omega 30's and already have them in hand. If they're available, wtf is mine ?

I also bought a Hybrid 46 during the 2023 BOGO promotion and opted for the free Omega 300. I submitted all the paperwork on June 8th, 2023 with BOGO#1358**, so I bought and submitted everything pretty early on during the BOGO promotional period. It has been over a year now and I'm still waiting...all they will tell me is it is 'in process'. I've emailed them a couple of times now and they just keep sending me a default response. I have seen on other forums where people that bought after me and had a much higher BOGO number have had the order fulfilled so I have no idea why SiCo is sucking so bad, but I am beyond aggravated at this point. 10/10 do not recommend anyone ever making a purchase due to the SiCo BOGO promotion unless you are completely okay with a 2 year wait time.

How is Capitol armory to deal with ?

A friend that did a banish 30 with silencer central just got word his was about to ship. Took a little more than two months I think.

I had a great experience with them on 2 cans and will use them again, add an extra couple of weeks for the CLEO bullshit and shipping to your home.

Can you enlighten us on your CLEO bullshit? All I and my SOT ever did was certified mail with signature to Sheriff's office. It was up to the Sheriff to contact the ATF on why I shouldn't own said NFA item.

CA has to send the CLEO their paperwork certified mail and give them a week to respond, if CA gets no response from the CLEO, CA ships the can to me. Different when picking up in person at my local FFL.

Not the end of the world just adds additional time.

Thread bump… Still waiting for my “free” Omega 300; 1 year and 1 week (and counting) now, with nothing but fucking crickets from SiCo. And we still get the pleasure of the ATF wait after it’s finally built and I get a serial number assigned.

I did just get my all titanium 15th Anniversary Sparrow from them today after a 9-month wait (driven by ATF, not SiCo), so I guess they’re working on something.

Just not our BOGO cans. 🫤

Edit: Well lookie here! On a whim I decided to check the BOGO tracker and much to my surprise, it’s now showing as shipped!

I just checked a couple days ago and it still said “In Process”. Guess we’ll be getting that ATF paperwork (well, eForm 4 anyway) started sooner than I thought!

That Sparrow took 9 months, as did the Hybrid 46 that was the first part of this BOGO for me. Will be very interesting to see how long this one takes under the “new and improved” processing system the ATF is using.

Update: Mine finally updated to “shipped”. I was one of the early buyers to the 2023 BOGO and it took over 14 1/2 months…
Fuck that noise, that's beyond ridiculous. I own a number of SiCo cans, but with the way they've been treating BoGo customers, I'm all done. Way too many other options out there.

Silencer Central has some odd bullshit about Leo notification. My bil for some reason had to wait about 3 weeks from stamp approval until they finally sent the cans.

My local silencer shop gold dealer also brings in their own inventory. So far they've been the fastest and easiest for me.

A friend of mine just got notification that his banish 30 from silencershop shipped. He was notified that it was approved and that they had sent notification to the sheriff's department probably close to two weeks ago now.

I'm not sure about the legal issue with notifying chief le in the county but I'm pretty sure capitol armory does it as well.

Capitol armory has the aem5-30 I want for my mws.

Law says notification. They want a response.

My local sheriff responded by dropping them in the shredder.

This is nothing new…They pull this shit every time they run a BOGO. Just another reason why they are a shit company, and I refuse to buy their products.
    Agreed 100%.

I saw this discussion not long ago elsewhere and someone brought up "you're not losing anything" by waiting.

The way I see it (and the way the law sees it in similar BOGO cases), you are in fact losing multiple things.

If you bought the Sico can, specifically because of the bogo, when comparing to another can, you essentially got lied to, to convince you to make that purchase over whatever else you bought. There's also a dollar amount associated to the bogo (legally speaking), its not "free" just because they worded it that way.

The other issue is..the more these assholes get away with a move like this, the more other companies will take notice and make these "indefinite delivery bogo promos" part of their standard business operation for promotions.

Either way, consumers lose at the end and Sico laughs their way to the bank.

The 100% correct response from the community should be to refuse to buy their products, full stop.

That was my understanding of it. Sheriff has seven days to petition the atf if he believes you shouldn't have it. After that your can ships.

Difference is they're supposed to do that when the stamp is submitted, not after approval.

I'm sure they think they're correct, but it's maddening to get an email that says "oh, we have an approved stamp, but we need more approval".

It's kinda crazy to see how people are upset over a free can.

You know the deal with SiCo and their BOGO deal - it's always been a long wait.

If you want a free suppressor and can handle the wait, go with SiCo.

If you don't want to wait, pay full price with a different company for two cans.

Anyone who complains about SiCos BOGO deal and wait times has clearly not been paying attention.

The part that really got me was I work with several guys that all went out and bought omega 300's months after I had already recieved my 36m, (the can I started this with) and they had their 300's in hand before mine even made it to the dealer.

I’d love to hear all the SiCo sucklers justify that shit. All the fudds saying, “well free is free”… Nah, I’d rather pay for one, and have it in a few weeks, instead of “free”, that takes over a year before you can even start the paperwork. What a joke of a company.

This has been going on since at least 2018, so in the year 2024 it certainly shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. You know what you are signing up for with a SiCo BOGO.

If you want a can right away, pay full price and buy one on the shelf somewhere. If you want a free can, be prepared to wait a long time.

I’m aware, it definitely doesn’t make the company look any better to say that they’ve been doing that since 2018. 😂

As a matter of fact, in 6 years, if they still can’t figure out a way to get their backlog shit together, that’s sad, and on purpose. Which is just pathetic.

Per the post above, 13 months of backlog isn't just poor planning/management, it's intentional.

One way or another, it's a very good indicator that I should be spending my money elsewhere.

I pulled a free SiCo can cert at a PRS match beginning of this year. Ordered on 4/24/24.
Asked for an update on 6/27/24 and was told form 3 was started. Last week finally called after sending a few unanswered emails.
Was told my can is in line behind all of the unfilled BOGO orders and likely a year or more out.
    Thanks fuckers 😂
