You won't know how much elevation you have until you zero your scope. In theory you could take you scopes advertised total travel and divide that by two, then add 5.8.
So if you scope had 25 mils... The math would be 25 mils divided by 2 = 12.5 mils up, plus 5.8 mils = 18.3 mils. That would be a good estimate of how much travel you have in the turrets. Plus whatever you can hold over on the reticle. The process of zeroing the scope might further add or subtract turret elevation. Hope this helps.
