I have the same issueSmall issue I am having with my .22. Occasionally when the rounds are feeding out of certain magazines they sit almost horizontal without the slight angle needed to feed into the chamber. With my factory mags sometimes I can hook my fingernail on the rim and pull it back or bang it on the stock and it sorts itself out. With my NDR 15 round mag when it does it I usually have to a take a round or two out.
I'm shooting CCI Standard Velocity so maybe not the best feeding ammo. I pulled apart one of the mags to see if I could clean it, didn't help.
Has anyone else encountered this? Can a person adjust the position of the mag well or anything like that?
My NDR mag is metal and no burrs. It started out great and now it almost doesn't work. At first it was just one factory mag and then others started doing it. I took a couple apart (bit of a pain) and didn't notice anything. I thought they would be full of lead residue or something.Same mags acting up ?
Make sure there are no burrs in the mag well
No burrs on the mag body
No burrs inside the mag body , follower
There has to be a reason only those mags are acting up
Is yours in a different stock than factory? Mine is in a krg, wondered if that plays a partMy NDR mag is metal and no burrs. It started out great and now it almost doesn't work. They just don't seem have the required nose up orientation. If I try to force it closed the bullet will get a notch pressed into the bottom from the edge of the chamber. Not all the time but pretty frequently.
+1 adjustable magwell chkLoosen the bolts on the mag well and play with the distance fore and aft to the breech , if you have removed the mag well you may have replaced it to far back
Factory stock until my Bravo gets here next week.Is yours in a different stock than factory? Mine is in a krg, wondered if that plays a part
I have not intentionally moved it but I have taken it out of the stock a few times and may have bumped it. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely try that.Loosen the bolts on the mag well and play with the distance fore and aft to the breech , if you have removed the mag well you may have replaced it to far back
It does have some adjustability, but not much. I have 2 of those mags that never worked properly in my T1X that is now sold. $220 in sunk cost.Small issue I am having with my .22. When I went to check last night of course it fed fine in the house from all my magazines. I did loosen the magwell and push it as close to the chamber as possible so I will see if the issue ever comes up again. It does have some adjustability, but not much.
