Is yours in a different stock than factory? Mine is in a krg, wondered if that plays a part

I have not intentionally moved it but I have taken it out of the stock a few times and may have bumped it. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely try that.
It does have some adjustability, but not much. I have 2 of those mags that never worked properly in my T1X that is now sold. $220 in sunk cost.
When I went to check last night of course it fed fine in the house from all my magazines. I did loosen the magwell and push it as close to the chamber as possible so I will see if the issue ever comes up again.
Seems to feed fine now. Shooting pretty well too, at least for me. All CCI Standard Velocity. I hadn't checked the action screw torque before this and setting them both at 30" pounds seemed to help.
I shot these groups then hit four shotshells at 150 yards with six rounds in a breeze so I'll take that.

Pretty plain and boring but here's a picture after installing it in its new Bravo stock to help keep this thread going.
Torqued the action screws to 50" lbs. so I will see what sort of results that yields. If anyone has any particular luck with specific torque values with this setup feel free to share them.
I don't imagine it could possibly shoot any better in this stock but it makes for a better practice rifle for my centerfire Tikkas in KRG stocks.

I've had my T1X for a year or so now and finally decided to try some better ammo in it and SK Standard+ was really the ticket. I had only been shooting CCI SV with pretty decent results. I just got my new HuxWurx Flow 22 Ti so figured I'd test it with some good ammo. I plan to do some testing at 100 yards this weekend.
Dunno if it’s come up in this thread, but apparently Beretta let it slip to a buddy of mine that the T-1X will be discontinued in favor of a new model. Can’t wait to see what gets revealed at SHOT next year.
Well that's neat. Of course I always feel like what I have becomes outdated when a company does that.
It seems like models of sporting firearms have a shorter lifespan than in the past. The Remington 700 and 10/22 have been in production for decades.
Maybe it's just easier to make new designs nowadays with modern technology.
There’s nothing wrong with the T1 as a production bolt action rimfire option. I upgraded the bolt knob and dropped mine into a Bravo. Maybe they should just offer factory upgrades/ different models
Some better factory stock options and easier barrel changes would compete with CZ a bit better.
The only things I want to see changed is a match barrel option. A heavy weight 20-26" barrel would be a game changer.
I don't mind the factory stock but I'd like to see an adjustable cheek piece and a full sized LOP.
Basically just want a 22lr Super Varmint.
I've not heard that rumor but interesting if true.
Hopefully a new model doesn't take 2 years to hit the streets Iike the original did.
I was reflecting on what would drive them to update. The success of the CZ457is what came to mind.
This came out cause my bud purchased a T-1X at a gun show, then realized it had a ruined barrel. He was calling them at my suggestion to see if they would sell him a factory tube. The conversation didn’t go well, and that is when they made the statement.
I was able to put him in touch with a fb friend who had upgraded his barrel and sold my bud the factory take off.
Thankfully Shot isn't too far away, it'll be interesting to see what a new model would be.
No shock, Beretta has never been known for top shelf customer service.
It would not make sense to discontinue a model that they cannot make enough of to meet demand. Making model variations would be more realistic. It would also be parallel thinking to many of the above posts.
Would that basically be a UPR stock? That seems like a decent option.
I would also like a slightly heavier barrel.
I’d be thrilled with a .830-.920 (or larger) diameter barrel with 24” length.
Existing action and trigger is great.
Only reason I want the heavier/ longer barrel is for weight distribution.
I personally don’t have issues with the existing mags, but understand the desire for factory 12 round option
At the end of the day, the T1x action is what sold me and it’s still awesome.

Main problem I think here is Tikka vs Sako,
high-grade 22s were always the role of Sako.
Going upscale into Anschutz/Vudoo etc
terrirtory is going to piss off Sako.
Hopefully there is a middle ground.
and eg. follow CZ in pricing, etc

The main issue with the factory T1x stock is it needs a lot of accessories right out of the gate: butt pad (to increase LOP), vertical grip, cheek riser.
Meaning it's a lot less value than the CZ457 options, and not as suited to base class for NRL.
The UPR fixes all of these but is pretty expensive so most people would rather just get a chassis on the base rifle.
If they offered the adjustable cheek piece stock (from the super varmint/tactical) and a heavier weight barrel, they price shouldn't change to dramatically but it would be considerably more competitive with the CZ 457 options.
If the teamed up with MDT, KRG, GRS etc and did a factory chassis then that'd be even better.
But as it stands you either have a rifle that isn't the best choice for base class, and requires a lot of mods for open class (chassis and barrel) that it's easier for most people to go CZ 457.
I bought my T1x very early and while it's been great, I would've bought a 457 instead if that was available at the time.
I ran T1X for several years of matches, including an ACC and custom barrel. I always tell people to buy a CZ.
Yeah, I've rebarrelled my T1x recently. I tell people to go CZ457.
However of a factory heavy barrel version came out I might reconsider.
I really like the action and magazines, it's the other bits that let it down for PRS/NRL.
No matter what I'm keeping mine. Even if they come out with something new, there won't be anything left handed for 2 more years if ever.
I was pretty interested in getting a T1x when they first came out, but could never seem to find a wholesale distributor with them in stock. Wound up buying several CZ457s instead - Varmint MTR, American, & VPT in the Manners stock. Wound up having to re-barrel the American & VPT due to poor accuracy, then when I got them both up & running with Shilen select match ratchets, found they were both far more consistently accurate than the Varmint MTR, so sold it. Those two CZ/Shilens completely satisfied my desire to have mid-priced .22RF rifles, and since I'd also gotten into a couple of Vudoo Gen 1 repeaters, the desire to buy a Tikka faded away. But I'd still like to see what they come out with next year or whenever. Better yet, I'd really like to see Sako get back into making .22RF repeater like the P78 & P94S that I bought because I like Sako rifles so much...
I recently saw a very nice Sako P72 .22RF repeater online, but found it too late to bid on it. That makes two of them that I've seen recently, and I'm wondering why they did such a nice job of finishing the stocks on the 72s, while the P78 I found & bought has a stock with open pores & a darker, slightly rougher finish. Now I'm watching for another P72 to show up - an old friend has gotten into importing guns from Finland, and he's the source for the 2nd 72 I saw. Need to let him know that I'm looking for a P72 and see what comes up...
I personally feel the P94S was a high water mark for accuracy, although I wouldn’t mind finding another P72 or P78. As for the Quad and FinnFire2, just don’t really have interest.

What specifically don't you like about it compared to the CZ? I initially bought mine because it was the only 60-70° bolt lift option available. Also I hated the razor sharp Savage magazines so the Tikka ones were a big improvement.
I thought the factory stock was okay with aftermarket arca rail and custom cheek riser. I have had occasional feeding issues/sticky mags and the firing pin broke but I do like the trigger and the amount of aftermarket support.
I get the thought process, but the idea of taking my centerfire rifle apart to put on a rimfire, then back to centerfire, re-assemble, re-zero and it's going to shoot exactly the same just makes me say no.
Honestly don't know a single person who switches there centerfire barreled action and rimfire barreled action between a single chassis or stock. Everyone I know has a stand alone rifle.
+1 I don't understand this fascination with bad ideas...
Lets eliminate the clever parts of the t1x to copy the worst part of r700...
[ETA - adjustable magwell, universal T3 footprint, small-form factor mags...etc]

Don't know that I'd swap between them either, but expanding the available chassis choices, better magazine swaps and improved ejection all sound like wins to me.
If you like the factory stock and aren't planning on doing a full retard PRS build then the T1x is an excellent rifle.
If you want a different stock from factory then the CZ457 gives you a lot more options. There are also more factory barrel lengths and weight options too.
And if you want to rebarrel the rifle, the CZ has a lot more options for barrels, and can take a heavier contour due to the design of the action. Not to mention Tikka barrels being a PIA to remove, whereas CZ is two grub screws.
Mine was never a real tack driver. Barrel changes suck. If I did not press downwards on the bolt handle the next round would point to the sky and jam, from day 1. With the aftermarket barrel, the last shot in the mag never feed cleanly. Always had to wiggle the bolt. After 20+ matches and 40-50K through it, I don’t miss it at all. I worked around all these things and did well, but I got tired of the drama.
T1X barrels need heat to melt the glue that holds them in and loosen the grub screws that were apparently tightened using nuclear powered devices while the barrel was heated to the temperature of the sun. The factory stock would feel fitting in a Savage. Once the glue is melted out, the receiver opening is never quite square again either.
Edit: All this being said, if Tikka/Sako came out with a basic chassis (not yoga flexi like the RPR) and match chambered 24” barrel with a match trigger; and all the components played well together, they would kick ass. As it is, CZ owns the mid market.
Here's hoping shot show brings us some good news.
I removed the barrel on my T1x before getting it rebarrelled. With just a little bit of heat the grub screws came out really easy.
I'd heard all the horror story's so had some impact bits and used my 18v impact driver but I don't think that was necessary.
Punching out the old barrel was mildly difficult, but a long round piece of brass, wood or plastic for a drift/punch would've made light work of it.
New offering from the Finns: T1x Ace Target. Chassis model with a built in arca rail and MLOK slots, 20 MOA picatinny rail, and adjustable stock. Looks like the same barrel profile as the original. I didn’t see an MSRP on their site, but this gun store in Slovakia has it listed for 1505 Euro
Same barrel profile/length is a bit disappointing.
The T1x ACE is about 2lb heavier than the MTR or UPR and most of that is likely in the butt of the new chassis.
Probably can balance it out ok with Mlok weights, but a heavier contour would've made that job easier.
20” and 16” barrel options. Depending on the price, looks like a solid option. Same chassis for centerfire is super useful.
The chassis has 3inch magwel, so its designed for centrefire...
Every un-necessary inch that GC is in front of the trigger is a design flaw.
