Report: Brace for ‘Unrest’ if Donald Trump Wins, Democrats Warn

Americans should prepare for “unrest’ if former President Donald Trump completes the greatest political comeback in modern American politics, Democrats told the Wall Street Journal on Monday.

The potential for Democrats to perpetrate political violence undermines their narrative that Republicans, and especially the America First movement, are a threat to democracy.

“I think there’ll be some violence. I think there’ll be workplace fights. There’ll be fights at kids’ birthday parties. I think they’ll be protests and will turn violent,” Mark Halperin recently told Tucker Carlson.

Resistance groups, according to the Journal’s Joshua Chaffin and Valerie Bauerlein, believe citizens should be “bracing for unrest” if Trump wins:

Across America, more than a dozen progressives in various positions of influence told The Wall Street Journal that they are dreading the prospect of Trump’s return to power, and dismayed that half the country might see a completely different reality than they see. Some are bracing for unrest. On a recent evening, more than 200 people joined a Zoom meeting titled Mass Training For Women’s Safety Teams—hosted by a Women’s March veteran who noted its timing amid “escalating political violence.”
Others are channeling their nervousness into action: They are planning to attend Women’s Marches scheduled in Washington and beyond on the Saturday before the election. In Boston, they are joining pill-packing parties, where volunteers fill boxes with abortion kits to mail to women in red states with strict limits. “We feel like we’re doing something,” said Erin Gately, a 47-year-old physician assistant who last time took to the streets to protest after Trump’s election, but says this time she would focus on tangible actions like protecting reproductive rights.

Laurie Woodward García, a South Florida activist, founded People Power United during Trump’s presidency to champion progressive causes, and, in her words, “stand up to fascism.” Her biweekly online seminars, some scheduled for after the election, explore the consequences if a President Trump were to enact Project 2025, a conservative policy agenda he has distanced himself from. Each session has drawn about 500 viewers.

“We’ve looked at different countries,” Melissa Fiero, a Democrat activist told the Journal. “I really think it’s going to be that bad if he wins.”

Halperin described how some Democrats might react, outside of violence, if Trump defeats Vice President Kamala Harris. “It will be the cause of the greatest mental health crisis in the history of the country,” Halperin told Carlson:

I think tens of millions of people will question their connection to the nation, their connection to other human beings, their connection to their vision of what their future for them and their children could be like. And I think that it will require an enormous amount of access to mental health professionals. I think it’ll lead to trauma in the workplace, … I think there’ll be alcoholism. There’ll be broken marriages.

Why is this a surprise? When threatened with a job, paying their own bills, bathing and wiping their asses all by themselves democrats go apeshit. Can you imagine their horror? They might have to pay for their own food, rent, student loans, utilities, cell phones, medical bills, abortions, drugs, needles and pipes, internet service, groceries and transportation.

It is a lot to lose, they are scared like little child molesting bunnies.

amusing really. the progs are trying to scare americans into not voting or voting for the puta?
won't work most magas are prob anticipating rioting and do not really fear it. some would welcome it. only people that need fear are the red voters in the cities, which will self destruct.
only thing i really fear is the scenario that amarylis kennedy laid out on tucker. that happens and the damage to blue areas will be even worse than conservative, rural, red areas which will be horrific.

This is the only reason I see the establishment letting Trump back in.

The dems usually tell us their plan ahead of time in the form of “what-if” scenarios.

They let him in, 2020 style chaos ensues, look, orange man bad, it’s all his fault, civil war blah blah.

Good men try to defend what’s theirs and are jailed or killed, and the uni-party sits back and smiles.

that scenario has crossed my mind. afraid that might be the only way he is allowed in. the steal is well on it's way, again.

I don’t understand why anyone would worry about this shit - wouldn’t the POLICE protect everyone from violent looting mobs and aid any “regular folk” protecting their life property or businesses from said looting burning mob? Didn’t they take an oath or some shit to do just that ? Or something . Name one instance where 300 or so cities were allowed to burn for over 200 nights ?

Why do you think the new D.O.D Directive 5240.01 was released just weeks BEFORE an election? Perhaps because the political elites are PLANNING on and paying persons to cause unrest....on purpose?

I dunno! 🤷‍♂️

Just a brain stormed theory that makes sense to me. Maybe I need to readjust my tin foil hat and antennas again. Been getting some interference recently 😁🤜

Nothing of note will happen. The only Democrats that are really worked up by the idea of a Trump presidency are the terminally online. They will stay in their safe spaces on Reddit and collectively menstruate for a few months until they realize that the world hasn't ended. Then they will crawl out of their holes and get back to being cowardly whiners.

This x1000.

It's concerning when you got online to places like Reddit, and see how so many people have collectively lost their minds.

But once you go outside, touch some grass, and talk to real people you see that 90% of people are normal and just want to get on with their lives.

It'll be great to go on Reddit if Trump wins and see everyone collectively loose their minds. But need to get out of there after the first 24hrs .

I'm guessing that you forgot about them burning cars and trashing property a few blocks away from the inaugural parade in 17 and the rest of the mostly peaceful burning and looting over the next few years. Ever heard of Kyle Rittenhouse? Antifa?

You never saw any of the unrest of the last 3-4 years up close?

The grass roots support for the hatred of Trump doesn't seem to be there though like it was for BLM.

It'll be a close election but most people aren't actually voting for saving the democracy vs a dictatorship. The average voter is voting on the economy and isn't going to take to the streets if their guy doesn't win.

I guess will found it in the next 2 weeks but the whole Trump = Hitler seems to be getting very little traction outside of online echo chambers and SJWs.

I imagine there will be some groups who try to make a fuss but it seems unlikely it'll be like the summer of love.

This sounds like a boomer AI Amazon aggregate review.

Exactly…

That said, in 2016 Trump didn’t have the black urban vote base like he does now. And the rioters were little pasty Antifa types.

Might find more people who are not going to let their soon-to-be-great again neighborhoods get fucked with.

That said… Antifa also targeted Rodeo Drive and 5th ave…. It’s where the expensive free shit is.

I remember talking to a buddy in East LA when things were bad in the Antifa and other riots out there. Owns a car recycling business specializing in high-end parts/vehicles. Awesome dude!! I asked him if he was doing ok and if Antifa riots were a threat. His answer was classic:

“No man… if they come near here, the Cholos will kill them all.”

Someday folks are going to get tired of being used… and then having their neighborhoods burned down.

We can hope!!!

There were a lot of very angry folks during the Floyd riots and the national Democratic machine did everything it could to encourage the rioting and looting for political gain. The Democratic party won't benefit from riots if Trump wins today so things won't be allowed to get out of hand like in 2020.

Don't underestimate the enemy. They have trained and tact'd up since the Obama terms.

Plus, they have fanatical youth on their side.
