In the case on WI it was less that 30,000 people who decided the outcome in that state. There are enough voted within the independents to have given Kamala the win.
If the Democrats hadn't kept Brandon for so long, and put in a proper candidate (and not choose Tampon Tim) the election probably would've gone the other way.
The point being the USA didn't all become MAGA hat wearing Trump supports, the results show it's as split down the middle as ever.
The big difference this time round is if Trump is able to pull of half the things he's promised, even if he just ends the war in Ukraine the Republicans will likely do even better this time round.
If however he doesn't and just shitposts on Twitter for 4 years, then the Democrats will sweep back in.
