I have a friend who took a buddy hunting about 10 or 12 years ago. He heard a shot not long after he left the guy at his stand and was sure an accident happened and he might have killed himmself. Ran to the tree and the guy was shaking in the stand so much it was rattling and yelling "I shot big foot...he was swinging throught the trees!" Turns out an orangutan had gotten loose a few days earlier in the area. They didn't have any trouble finding that one. One of the funniest stories I have ever heard in person.

I wonder how they taste smoked or with bbq sauce?
If one was going to attempt this, (i believe it could be done spectacular) my first call would be to my South Louisiana folks for a recipe. Even if they had never done it, ( which is a big if) Houma folks would have a recipe. On a side note, they would also tell you the breeding behavior. I dont know how that helps anything but, I am always informed on this prior to any cooking advice. 🤷‍♀️ or any advice really.

Random Conversation: " Hey, Doug! How does that Can am mud ride?" " Well King Ding-a-ling Texas, Its pretty good, but If you rub your boudin in the tail pipe it runs real smooth and has a nice smell to it.

There is an island in that area with about 4,000 wild monkeys. I've fished near the island a couple of times.

The reason they exist is quite dark.

The lab that these little guys escaped from is Alpha Genesis Labs, which sells live primates, tissue, blood, etc.

This will end up being a contracted hunt on the down low with NODS, Thermals, and 22 rifles with cans. Or just let the first heavy snowstorm take care of it.

Last I heard, this facility did not do any type of research... According to them it's a breeding facility that raises monkeys to sell to places that do the research.

That's the "official" narrative.

Of course "originated in a wet market" was the official narrative for another clusterfuck a few years ago.
