I finally got a Burris XTR3, won one at a match, I had intended to buy one once the illuminated version came out but never did (a variety of reasons).
It's a non illuminated 3.3-18x50.
The turrets are nice, dragon scales are really not bad, turret resistance is about right and no backlash in the clicks.
Putting it on a tripod and comparing to a few other scopes, the glass isn't as good as I'd expected.
Definitely worse than my Delta Stryker (so I'm guessing other LOW 4.5-30 scopes) but better than my PST Gen2 3-15.
I'll try doing some more optical testing in different conditions, but so far it's a little disappointing, however the overall package is pretty good and an upgrade over the PST Gen2 3-15 which is what I'd always been looking for, capped windage being a huge selling point.
I think the glass might perform better once mounted on a rifle as even being a small amount off center seems to make the CA and edge clarity considerably worse.
