    UnitedHealthcare CEO fatally shot outside Manhattan hotel, no arrests

    UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown and rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, sources say.

    CEO of one of the largest health insurers in the US shot dead in plain daylight for no apparent reason.

    According to ABC News, police say the shooter was wearing a ski mask and fled down an alleyway near West 55th St. Suspect described as a skinny man, standing at about 6-foot-1 and wearing all black.

    What I noticed were two things:

    - the authorities (unnamed) said that the guys had been hanging out for quite a while waiting for the target to show up.

    I ask you, in the financial district a guy is hanging out wearing a ski mask and nobody notices or says anything?

    - the article I read said, “Police are investigating the shooting death as a targeted attack and suspect a gun silencer, known as a suppressor, may have been used, according to multiple local and international media reports, citing police sources.”

    So, the thing that gets international press is that he “may have used a suppressor”? Interesting, considering there’s just now another bill looking to deregulate suppressors.

    Tin foil time. Being this time of year in NYC, someone with a ski mask while riding a bike isn't going to look too out of place. Calling it an Antifa hit is a bit of a stretch at the moment. The guy was going to an investors meeting. I would guess that someone either wanted him silenced or out of the way. Just for shits and giggles I looked at United's stock price and they are up by .66%. So I guess offing their CEO isn't too big of a deal.

    So they kill two birds with one stone possibly? Get rid of a CEO that may have been about to spill the beans, and further push the narrative of those evil hearing protection devices.

    My sister works for United healthcare. They just had a big round of layoffs. Possible disgruntled former employee.

    She said he normally travels with security but didn’t on this day because he was going in early to prepare for a shareholders meeting

    The powers here are spending more effort and resources into investigating this than they have investigated malpractice during Helene relief efforts in North Carolina. And the 'victim' has not gotten ONE message of sympathy from the thousands upon thousands of social media messages in the wake of this breaking. Just shitposts, jokes, and FAFO about denying lifesaving procedures. Some are even saying that a tranny's taint vag procedure would be approved by most insurance companies, while some cancer treatments would be denied.

    Pretty telling so far. Still need to know what the guy's leanings are to hypothesize if this was a state hit to silence any whistleblowing he might be planning to do, or a PEOPLES' HIT upon a member of the upper tier that had been committing wholesale thievery upon their communities for way too long.

    People as a whole have a very high tolerance and resilience threshold, even more so now partly fueled by complacency. But when one opens up a Youtube page and see nothing but a tidal flood of documentaries covering police abuses, technocrats censoring political opponents, and officials making malicious decisions during emergencies that get people killed, time and time again with no consequences for their actions, a lot of people realize that 'relying on the justice system', 'hope and prayers', and 'lawsuits and education' is absolutely NOT getting anything done, and only drastic action is going to produce desired results.

    One can imagine a lot of crooked cops who had harmed innocents and gotten away with it, dirty officials, corrupt leaders at every tier of the structure etc., are not going to be having pleasant dreams tonight. Once again, pending revelations to this guy's political leanings, accomplishments, and whether he was a valiant underdog in a crooked industry trying to bring positive change, or one of those responsible for stinking up the very fabric of this world with their corruption.

    I'm betting it's a 3d printed can so no piston. It's big AF by the video, that's what makes me think a 3d can on a Glock or something. His big bag also, I'm betting he wanted to blend in as a bike messenger or something for his escape, maybe a change of clothes and a second pack in there too?

    And we have normalized the use of masks so much in libtard cities that of course it looks normal!

    My guess is gun did not jam, but did not have a proper setup for a short-recoil semi (spring and buffer, etc.) Those 'solvent traps' don't have complex features like Neilson Devices!

    Frankly, it looks like my Rugged Obsidian 9mm on a smaller handgun. I like the self manufactured angle, it's in pieces at the bottom of the river, likely along with the shooter. They have a good pic of the nose and upper face on Fox News (TV).

    It was very far from the financial district. It’s NYC in December, thousands of early morning commuters and delivery bicyclists would be wearing face masks for the cold.

    Pistol jammed because subsonic loads or even lower powered handloads were used. It would negate the benefits of a suppressor to send anything at over 1100 FPS out the tube. Reduced power=less recoil to operate the cycling mechanism. The guy knew about all of this and was ready to manually clear the jam and fire the thing like a bolt action.

    I shoot nothing but subs with 2 different Glocks and an Obsidian 45. Cycling is not an issue.

    Looks like a solid shooting. Three or four smooth immediate actions, not so much clearing the gun as cycling the gun. It looks like he actually caught a round on one of them. Vague clothing, met at predetermined spot, ignored the witness, stayed focused on the target and quietly moved on when finished.

    Someone listened to Tampon Tim and struck back against Capitalism?

    He might have printed it. Or it might it have been mfgd conventionally on the down low. Or it could have been stolen from someplace. Or it could have been procured legally in another state then brought to NY for the hit.

    Doubt it... First, looks like a slide-type auto. Small-ish frame.

    And VP-9's are full class III. You don't get one without a lot of paperwork. Too traceable. Much easier to use a stolen 9 with a home-made "Solvent trap" suppressor than anything with a paper trail.
