The lock rings are here. They don’t look like much given their cost

How much were these suckers?
How much were these suckers?
Is that really what he said? What did he say?
He said " The sheriff is near!"
While you’re at it, , EO has TT 7-35 price reductions. Pretty sure you can get it much lower than what’s advertised on their site if you call them.I grabbed one. Really excited, and a great deal once you factor in the reward points.
You wouldn't believe what a pain in the ass finding that scope mount was. Shoutout to @SAS_Sniper and Sporting Services UK for helping me out. If anyone has an AI S&B windage turret let me know.

Are these from Sporting Services? Or directly from AI UK?$972 shipped for the 3 from the UK. $100ish of that was shipping and customs fees.
I’d bet that I’m the only person/business in North America besides AINA that had any though as MHSA said they didn’t have any when I asked a few months ago and AINA won’t sell them.

This drives me nuts.Sporting Services UK as AI UK directed me to AI NA which wouldn't sell them to me as they are a "service item only".
Perfect, thanks. I wonder if they have any 3 lug versions left. I've always wanted one to see what they're like.Sporting Services UK as AI UK directed me to AI NA which wouldn't sell them to me as they are a "service item only".

I have cash, you have thing I want, you will give me thing I want and I will give you cash.

If I had a bunch of extra cash around I would sell AI parts that Mile High won’t sell from a van parked next to their location.Exactly. This is what pisses me off about AI. I have money and want to give it to them for a part but they either refuse to sell it or charge a stupid amount of money for it plus limit the supply.
I love AI rifles but I hate AI as a company.

Wonder what the life of one of these are? 25-50k rounds?

Damn that’s a lot of rounds!I'm pretty sure Jacob has 200K+ rounds on his AW by now and it's still using the original lock ring as far as I know.
I wanted them more as a replacement part due to damage from an over pressure round.
I think you’d have to have an absolutely insane over pressure round to worry about that
I’ve had to send my AXSR in to AI, I had it back within two days of mailing it and they were very communicative about the whole thing. I’ve called them and Scott is the guy who answered the phone and gave very detailed answers to my questions.I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it. Having a $5K+ paperweight of a rifle due to not being able to get a replacement if needed (16+ weeks to get one) would piss me off. It's the same reason that I have 3 spare complete bolt assemblies.
Getting parts from AI is a nightmare and AINA wants you to send you rifle in for even the stupidest things that they don't need the rifle for and I have no interest in shipping my expensive rifle across the country for no reason.
I love AI rifles...I hate AI as a company.
24 elk season. 7-6.5prc. Wet/dirty/dropped, didnt miss a beat.

Well them western states are pretty FuddishMinus points 0 suppressor....
Which "western" states you be referring to?Well them western states are pretty Fuddish
Might be
Illegal
Why would you bring that fuddery in here?
That's not fuddery, it's clearly AInime.
Probably belongs to the guy that keeps posting pics of various R700s in AICS over and over in this thread, he just wanted to show off his latest build...![]()
Pretty sure I've seen some curtains with that pattern in an old aunts house....
My experience has been very similar; and i don’t call places to gauge their service, i am a pretty dry person. If they told me to fuck off i would have probably fucked off and resolve the issue somewhere else. Time is too valuable to dwell on customer experience.I’ve had to send my AXSR in to AI, I had it back within two days of mailing it and they were very communicative about the whole thing. Yes they aren’t great if you’re trying to buy individual pieces and want them immediately and the demand for their stuff is quite high. However, I have been above and beyond satisfied with my service experience with them.
I guess it may help that I have multiple AI’s so if I have to ship them a gun to look at, I just grab another one to go shoot or hunt things. YMMV.
You’re buying the most durable and I think best supported fleet rifle system. Remember, their primary client is someone who runs it as a system. kinda hard to act surprised when a system gets serviced like a system![]()
It’s the fat girl with the pretty face…Every time I think about trading this in for an AT or AX in the mid caliber range , I shoot it and I fall back in love with it.
Lol. More like thicc! It’s hefty but not large marge big. It’s the fat girl with the pretty face…
Were it only so simple as putting them next to each other to create a new one…View attachment 8564055
These things keep multiplying in the safe
I’d put my AI in lingerie and get my TacOps drunk. Imagine the love child. Were it only so simple as putting them next to each other to create a new one…
Picked up the Sterk golf ball bolt knob. He is now working on one the same size as the AT-XC as well.
