If you've seen any of my other evaluation threads the criteria is basically the same.
(1) Once I carefully select the parts used in the current build I then start my post with highlighting each individual part and thier purpose. I highlight the steps that I've taken to complete/ Assemble the build and answer any questions regarding individual parts and why I selected them.
(2) Next is the initial Range session. During this time I will conduct a Soft Barrel reak-In while monitoring with a borescope in between cleanings, set up the Gas and Operating System to reliably run with a broad range of usually cheap Factory Ammo Suppressed and Unsurpressed.
During Step (2) I'm also Zeroing my Scopes. I have two Bushnell Elite Tactical DMR3 Scopes that I prefer to use in my Evaluations because they are Bomb Proof and track like a Blood Hound, I have never had one failed on me so that way if something is off I already know it's not the Glass.
That brings me to the comment about the zoomed in Target Pictures, because I am constantly swapping Scopes with several different rifles usually (3-5 Rifles Large and Small Frame ) per Range Session with a broad spectrum of different Calibers and Factory Ammo.
This process plays hell on trying to keep a clean and legible Target Board because more times often than not during swapping Scopes there will be all kinds of random impacts until I get each rifle zeroed and sometimes they come really damn close to the other groups that I've shot so to keep it simple for the masses I zoom in on the groups that way y'all aren't trying to play Guess Who with the impacts.
(3) Once I've put at least 150rds down each Barrel and worked out any discrepancies if there's any at all, I'll then take a good assortment of high quality Match Grade Factory Ammo usually in the 60gr - 77gr Range and find the Factory Ammo each build prefers.

In this thread it's the 73gr Berger BT Target Ammo and show the External Ballistics Data and highlight it's performance. The reason I do this is because I know majority of people don't have time because their busy work / family schedules to conduct Load Development.
I do this is for the SH Members who follow my threads and want to spend thier money on any of the products I'm reviewing, if I can take some of the guess work out for them and save them time and money it's a Win or all.
(4) The final step is Load development, this is where the 4x5's or 5x5's come in, after I have established a consistently accurate Hand Load I'll share my Load data and conduct a final 4x5 or 5x5. I wish I could add in a few 10rd groups or some 20 - 30rd groups for you guys but I just don't have the time and money to devote into each and every build or barrel Evaluation due to the quantity I'm working with.
