Get an Adjustable Bag Rider for small adjustments and a hard/heavy/no-squeezable rear bag like a Protektor.
When you have to squeeze a rear bag for small adjustments, it introduces error at the shot. Having a hard, supportive rear bag is superior, but doing small adjustments is more problematic. This is where the Adjustable Bag Rider comes in.
This combo beats, hands down, everything else I've tried. Not as practical for closer in shots, but game changing at longer ranges - so much so, that I can't imagine going back to my pre-ABR days for shooting out past a mile.
The ABR adds a little height to the system, so I had Protektor make me a half-height custom bag. This is the image I sent them:

For closer in stuff (typically out to 1200 or so) with my 6 BRA and 308, I use a squeezer from Wiebad:
