This is my video through my PVS-14. I sped it up so you can see the erratic movements. I've seen this over four times same location.
Seen similar twice now in last two years. Last time was a coworker who called me out to see them last week. We both saw them.
I'm in the camp that it's nephilim technology. That's a Christian rabbit hole for the curious.

This is by far from "normal" air traffic. We've watched them get bright and split.
From probably miles away according to the video. Could be two aircraft in line and one turns I live right between multiple airports and see this type of stuff watching the air traffic.
Let’s pretend for argument sake this town of 900 is hill city, there’s multiple airports surrounding it so it being aircraft would be the plausible choice. I’m thinking it’s a money grab possibly and being vague to jump on the band wagon.
One of the tagged sells/rents equipment after all, and one does YouTube….maybe it’s a business opportunity

I'm intimately familiar with their biblical story (and demise, and where they are today), so color me skeptical. I do however enjoy a good rabbit hole if it doesn't fly in the face of scripture. $5 says that since the gub'ment claims that they don't know what they are...that they know exactly what they are...which is why I would be concerned. When they 'admit' to aliens to try to explain stuff - you know that they are just trying to distract from what they are really up to. I trust them 0%. We've got radar capabilities that will make many heads swim...Hell, the ragheads from Syria can't launch a SCUD missile at each other without NORAD initiating a phone call with all of the DoD entities - within minutes of launch (single digit time)...same for China launching a T. V. satellite.
There are a lot of people in DC that know exactly what this is. If and when they'll share is a different story.

How many miles exactly from that Podunk town ? must be fairly close, as you only looking threw a pvs14 and recording . Any chance of you just jumping in the truck, and chasing down a location vertically closer under the movement ?
Sounds like you not near Ellsworth or Sioux falls, or a municipal airstrip ? , I Have Zero Idea of what you looking at. Only guess I have, maybe a few guys getting together with a very serious drone addiction.
I have a few pieces of NV, and always scouting the sky here when I out. I always spotting low satellite and 'whatever ?' the other objects are ? zipping orbit positions, moving single or 2 to 3 at a time are. There is a just a fucking uncountable ShitTon of things moving/zipping low level orbit now. just makes my neck sore watching them for any extended time.
I live in area much higher population density than you. As for 'large drone' not fixed wing. I have only seen few around here, and that is local county LE doing visual surveillance. But they don't Zip Around and just park it same spot out of ear shot, and sit till they switch-out with another with fresh power charge.

Can you see it with the naked eye?
It's been a few years ago we saw two lights in sky one right on top of the other. Both were bright and large. We ran down the street to get a better look at them. When they came into view around the our cedar tree. They both split into 5 lights in a triangle pattern contiuing to move east then disappeared. No explanation I have. They didn't look very high.
I know places you can go to see weird stuff flying at night. It also happens to be places I have watched jets training dog fighting I assume. Another I saw them doing an air refuel with a stealth bomber. Pretty cool.

L.A. Marzulli is probably the best Christian go to for this stuff. Timothy Alborino has some good stuff to. Several pastors talk on it a lot too. Alan Dideo comes to mind.
I've watched almost this exact same thing happen as far back as 1979. There are NO airports with anything but 2 or 3 private planes in the area. My wife and I used to watch them (when we were still dating) sitting on the back porch of her parents house way out in the La delta. Again this was in the 70's. We watched some of them get brighter, split and 2 or 3 lights take off in different directions, like someone else stated. All the lights were white, never any red/green or any other color. Nothing but farmland in the direction where they appeared. Every now and then one would come in our direction close enough we should have been able to hear SOMEthing but never a sound was heard. They would stop, reverse direction of travel, climb straight up, etc far different from any normal aircraft. Some nights we'd see 2-3, some times a dozen, usually no more than 3 at a time, and they'd all either go out of sight over the horizon (actually the top of a distant treeline) or sometimes they appeared to return to their point of origin.

I'm 170 miles east of the hills. You can see the aircraft in the video with straighter trajectories and blinking lights.
Yes, that's how we noticed them initially, they got bright, amber in color, no blinking, then either split, or slowly disappear. The use of NODS lets us see them longer than with naked eye. They never move linear.
There are a lot of satellites up there… but they move in a linealericalogical manner.
Also, I know a guy that I 100% believe cause I’d fall over dead if he told a lie, anyways, he said back in the early 70s he would see stuff like that. They would change direction and shoot across the sky, etc. weird stuff.

There is an app for iphone. Skyview. Maybe available for other platforms, I haven't a clue.
Check out all of the space trash out there. Unbelievable number of abandoned rocket bodies and such.
I used my Swarovski spotting scope and could see some of them but I am unable to see with my naked eye, except for once in a while if the reflection from the sun or whatever other light source the Aliens are allowing me to see.
