I pulled a gooseneck through a blizzard on Thursday, and I sometimes had to slow down below 60mph!
Mostly because passing trucks made the "can't see shit" blizzard into "where is the end of my hood" blizzard.
But, being dark, I could see the reflections off the delineator posts.
I didn't see road markings for 100 miles....
Funny how studded snow tires go on the truck, and suddenly the speed limit is still perfectly safe. Then I go down south and realize the reason they're all piled up every time it rains is because they think any rubber over top of the cords is still a great tire with plenty of life left. My tires get to where they lose traction and they get replaced no matter what the tread looks like.
