Usps at its finest

Not only is this ^^^ accurate, here's a receipt for proof.

Maybe the USPS thought an aftermarket trigger needed an adventure? Seems like anything gun related gets delayed/misrouted/lost when it goes through USPS, UPS or FEDEX.
I had a rear bag go from Florida to Utah by way of Hawaii. Now we just need to find all of the rest of the rifle parts going on a Hawaii vacation.

As if the shit service is limited to USPS. We live in a world where nobody gives a fuck about their job! They go to earn a paycheck, and fuck anyone that makes their job harder. A portion on this site bitch and complain about their job, YOU are part of the problem.
The bullshit comes from the top and trickles down to the peons.

I have cameras and text & email notifications on my mail box and package delivery bin.

How do you do the text email? It must be a tight camera outline to avoid "false alarms" by other drivers, etc. But I already have the cameras. I could throw a "Blink" outdoor on that and shrink down the coverage area, but we'll see.

The mailbox/bin each send me texts and an email when opened.

In any market, whoever pays the most has first pick from the available workforce. From there, excellence is driven from the top down. This is why a Chic-Fil-A will have great service, sitting next to a McDonslds that is abysmal. They pay better. They train better. And, they fire those that don’t make the grade. If you’re afraid to fire b/c you need the warm body, you are failing on at least 2 fronts. Which ever service is paying their employees the most, in your area, is probably the service that sucks the least, in your area…

This is how I received match grade bullets from euro optic via UPS. They tried to blame UPS but it was clearly not packed properly and the cardboard box of bullets was simply a missile inside the box.

The outer box was in pristine condition and my driver actually added some tape because bullets were falling out.

Target Sports does the same when ordering smaller quantities.

Target Sports does the same when ordering smaller quantities.
Snagged the same box from Grafs and it was packed well enough to throw out a 3rd story window.

Euro made it right but I’m really wish these companies would pack a little better. I paid $21 to ship that little box so it is not like I didn’t pay for shipping……

This is the new norms since the Plandemic. Mostly due to the fact people suck and nobody wants to actually "work" and our own liberal controlled government promotes people NOT working. The most recent Federal workforce information reveals that only 6-10% actually work in person but remotely (little actual work) and still receive full pay and benefits. But also in large part due to this from the 60's!!!

This shit has to stop........

My turn.
Several years ago I sent a loan payoff check via Priority Mail from Idaho to Florida. After the usual stop in Spokane it went to a town in Minnesota, which sent it to a smaller MN town....who sent it back to the big town...who sent it back to the small town...who sent it back to the big town where it sat for eight days before being sent to Florida.
The small MN town had a similar name to the FL one but of course a different zip code.
Late payment cost me an extra $240 in interest.

Even with proof of postmark, you couldn’t get that fixed?

It's a toss up between those two here. Usps will sign my name to $$packages, leave in mailbox, and also claim that they delivered it into my hands. Postmaster claims that they are short handed and that's just the way it is. I asked him what would happen if I signed a federal document with some one else's name ? Isn't that fraud at a minimum?.............Crickets.

Fudex ground is a lot worse. Driver can't back up a truck and tore up the yard. I called the local office and they didn't return calls, so I called the sheriff and filed a complaint. That got some attention, but 6 months later and still no settlement. UPS is still the best around here.

Remember, the drivers for Fedex Ground are *not* Fedex employees but contractors. The truck might be branded as Fedex but, usually, you'll see the contractor's name and credentials, etc. just to the lower left of the truck's front door. You'd have to sue the contractor's LLC or whatever.

This reminds me of an episode during OIF2 in 2004/5 timeframe:

We had an OH-58D get shot up during a mission and it needed a new tailboom. Said tailboom should have gone from Texas -> Maryland -> Germany ->Iraq.

Should have.

What actually happened was Texas -> Maryland -> Haiti (sits for a month) -> Maryland -> Germany, and stops there. When we redeployed back to Germany I found the box sitting in our hangar. Wrong shape, size, and with the wrong NSN for a '58D tailboom. Open it up and there is a nice pretty AH-64 transmission.

I know where the USP"S" hires from

Amazon comes right out and tells you.
I never did get that wire. 😆

Be wary of Amazon and when packages are "lost" or "never delivered." Sometimes, it's a bait and switch thing.

I've had several times when Amazon offered an item at a low price and shipped it, only to have that package lost or not delivered. It used to be that they'd send you a "replacement" item. Not anymore. What they do now is refund your purchase price and let you buy the item again. Of course, by that time, the price will have risen to what they really want to charge for it. Likewise, if the price goes down while you are in this process, they will only refund the amount that represents the current price, not what you paid for it.

Caveat Emptor!

Yeah Amazon does shady crap like that. Most of my shipments take a week here in Wyoming. They are getting sued for slow deliveries suddenly I get 2 shipments in 2 days time, on a Sunday…..

They all suck but wrap your head around this re; USPS. I live in SW Florida, I can send a priority box to my son outside of Seattle in Everett Wa. 3 days 4 at the most. A priority box shipped to Tampa or the east coast of Fl takes 4-5 days but consistently a box goes to Wa. state in 3-4 days!!! This is just one example of the malfeasance at the USPS. And you're right sloporshe it's all location dependent.

Ridiculous but true and I have had many near disasters (losses) from each of the "big three" like some have said moving across back and forth coast to coast etc, and signature confirmations are a joke with all 3 including NFA items, HazMat items and high value insured items, if you have ever signed for anything they use that regardless of whether you actually signed.
The only true way I've found is the slow walk of USPS registered mail, now I use that for anything over $1k......

This is awesome... the tracking indicates it is in the "U.S." so I have that going for me! Seriously though, it is good to know it's in the U.S. since it is a package that was shipped from WI to MI :ROFLMAO:

Package there since Thursday. How will it arrive at my home in DE by 9:00?🙄

Don’t get me started on the package coming from Australia. Two days to Kali, four days in customs, two weeks with USPS in LA and they have no idea where it is🤬

My King's Camo order from 11/27. It's making its way around the country. I may have to call them about extending their 30 day return policy. It made it to within 20 miles and is now moving back out...
