I wonder if they’ll translate “I’m fine” to what she really means?
I played around with the Google Translate or Google Lens or whatever it's called to translate conversations in real time using the phone mic. It works okay for what it is, but I wouldn't wanna use it for an extended conversation.
I work for a Japanese company and we have Japanese coordinators. I have thought about these a few times but with only 2 months left I figure I'll just ride it out now.
I thought it would be funny to have them say something to each other and then I answer them. They all speak English until they do not want you to understand them.

Saw a video commercial. Two guys speaking whatever while sitting next to two girls. One of the girls suddenly asks did you call us ugly? Then it turns into the commercial.
Both girls were ugly.
