nhs wanted to let his son die.

Holy fuck... Aw hell naw. With all the mismanagement and shit coming from Canada's "health service", including recommending almost all patients to take suicide as an option, I won't be surprised if shit starts going hot in a matter of time. All it takes for them is to fuck with the wrong person. A person whose temper is already short AND has nothing to lose. There are people out there who will not argue or plea or try to "change someone's views". They will go right for the neck and deal with the consequences later with a smug grin. That man did his utmost for his son and succeeded. Hope they are doing well now.

Phthalates and bis are super common lab contaminants. There are plastics in the wrapping paper, cutting board, and analytical instruments. The nanogram/serving (ng/kg?) concentrations are barely detectable. We're all more likely to get food poisoning than experience any effect of those analytes. Besides, the listed "foods" are all meat so this is probably just vegan political warfare. Quit acting a chicken little and get priorities straightened out.

i wish them luck!

I hope they win big, but the money needs to come from the employees of the DoJ. The commies have already perfected the model for soaking the taxpayers. An example would be when the EPA allows itself to be sued by some generic environmental group. It puts up a basic no contest defense, then hands over millions of dollars and makes new policies. This lawsuit needs to change that model to a punitive one. Make the people who did wrong pay up. The "Department" is just a basket of people. The people f'ed up, not the department. Make the people pay so they won't do it again.

A ng (nanogram) is one part per trillion. The ONLY reason people are aware of this level of concentration is due to the capabilities of modern analytical equipment. For context - a person would have to eat one trillion pounds of beef in order to consume one pound of a listed contaminate. That individual would die from eating that much beef way before the contaminates would kill him.
