That TMK in 223 is a hella bullet…I’m sure in 308 is nothing to play with either.

I’ve heard @Terry Cross say the TMK projectile used in T308T is not commercially available or the same bullet used in the consumer/match grade ammo.

AI AT in AW skins. Finally got the courage to drill the quickloc screw hole in the skins.
New 6.5x47L barrel for competition was going exceptionally well at 1000m. Running an ATEC PRS 1 MOD suppressor brake and 136gr scenars.
2696fps in the 25” barrel with varget. Girls 11 & 12 were hammering the hostage target at 700m.

For sure .....but... it is very well behaved and consistent across more barrels and chambers due to it retaining the original 168bthp ogive versus the newer TMK that sacrificed "well behaved" for higher BC.
That original ogive profile was the magic sauce in GM308M.
Federal knew everybody was going to use the GM308M as the standard most would compare the new T308T with. They understood that their target audience cannot tweak OAL, powder charge, etc in an attempt to optimize the TMK if it didnt shoot well in an LE rifle, so the didn't go there.
This is also true of the 155gr 2155 SMK used in palma. That bullet was so easy to load and shoot compared to the 2156.
By well behaved I think he means shoots well in a variety of guns
It does behave well in my AT, AXMC, and TacOps.
Now that I have the XERO, I get to do a lot of experimentation to check consistency. However, it drives me a bit crazy as well. Thank God I have not bought a borescope.
Those chronos make a lot of ammo look bad. Compared to years back

I don't handload and have zero time to do so. Like you, I put my available time towards shooting versus handloading. I bought the XERO because I saw a good deal and had too many libations that evening.
I find it very useful. It may explain some odd results at ranges greater than 500 yards. If you're shooting inside 400 yards, the SD and ES values I measure for Federal and Norma will not cause misses unless the plates are under 1 MOA in size. However, that is not the case at ranges > 600 yards.
Spark / Prime ammo was best factory ammo I’ve used. Better than berger.
But at this point even post covid Hornady ammo isn’t the weak link for me.
And that’s saying something. Hornady used to be decent the latest production stuff is lacking.

i miss Prime ammo the most of all the things that Covid hoax took from us.
They make a number of them. I use the Federal 6.5 loaded with the 130-grain Berger when I shoot the AT. Can't use that with the MC since it has a large firing pin.
I don't know of a tipped 6.5 CM. Which one are you referring to?
I still have 2,500 rounds of the original PRIME 6.5 CM with the 130-grain bullet. I use it sparingly. It is money!
i don't own any Manbun but i do enjoy shooting my 260 MR in my Arctic Warfare
"Hunting" rifle to pack the freezer. Chilling in the deer stand is fine with this heavy girl.

NORMA used to manufacture it for PRIME. However, I have shot both cartridges, and the PRIME was more consistent. I believe that PRIME had its recipe.Isn’t this the same ammunition but branded Norma?

Dead air has their new 33 cal printed Ti can, the Nomax 33. Havent played with it yet, but I have played with its little brothers (LT XC and LTI XC), which are both very nice.

I’m as skeptical of dead air as anyone, but I figured a DMLS can probably isn’t gonna blow apart like a poorly welded tubeless can. They look nice, sound nice, and customers are so far happy.
I wish I could find a set of those cheek riser thumb screws... I'm still trying to secure a set.

Pretty sure they’re discontinued. I used this from McMaster Carr. They look “okay” and sit pretty flush against the skins.

Are the 20mm McMaster Carr ones long enough at 20mm? I had to cut a 25 down a bit because the 20mm ones I use weren’t long enough to contact the cheek piece
