Benjamin 317

Pricey. I had a Sheridan Blue Streak when I was a kid. Still have it too. Still knocks birds out of the trees. I misplaced it in the 80's and bought another one and then found the original in, of all places, my Dad's safe. Now I have two. The original Dad bought in the 60's and is a better rifle.

Mine is a 347. Bought it for 40 bucks in the early 70's. Earned the money by picking up returnable coke bottles and selling them to a local grocery store for the deposit price, a nickel apiece. Still works fine.

If you have really old Benji - Whatever you do don't send it back to the company for repair because they'll confiscate it saying it's dangerous to shoot or some such nonsense. They took my friends gun and gave him a coupon for some value towards a new one.
This pisses me off worse than anything I've seen in the Bear Pit.
