Ok guys I am a Bolt gun guy. I am looking to buy one or the other seekins SP10 6.5CM or Wilson Combat super sniper. I will be running this primarily for Predator at Night with my Pulsar thermal on top. I have researched high and low and really need honest opinions seeing as I know very little about gas guns. I know I want a quality rifle but tell me why one over the other?

Primarily because they have a track record. Wilson Combat's AR parts are good quality. I've used some of their parts in the past and so has a friend of mine. But Seekins simply has a proven record.

Big wilson combat fan but I have seen too many of their AR's with issues cycling, especially non 5.56 (.224v, 300hammer,ect)
On the flip side, Seekins makes the best value in large frame AR's and IMO the best mounting system short of a full monolithic upper.
Its an easy decision. Seekins.

Agreed, I have a plethora of Wilson 1911s , but my experience with their ARs has less than stellar and Seekins is the one that I think of for a large frame that works and I can actually sort of afford.
Wilson Combat barrels have been pretty accurate for the price.
I don't buy the rifles just the barrels.
The only one I had to send back was AR 10 6.5 CM 24", after bore scoping...it was a bit of a hassle with the first guy, but the second took care of the situation and provided me with a decent barrel. Customer service its who ya get on the phone.
The 6.5 CM wouldn't be my first choice for a night varmint hunter.
The WC barrel is capable of hitting a few half inch 5 shot groups. But I was not interested in varmints so all the load data is with 140 gr 147 gr & 150 gr Match bullets at high velocity.
Varmints at night for me would be the 6mm ARC in AR 15 with a SS Proof 18" barrel. Look at the video "60 coyotes with the 6mm ARC". Dropping them out to 700 yds in daytime calling
4 coyotes come in at the same time, 4 coyotes down, with one shooter. Factory 108 gr eldm was used.

I have considered the 6 creed but I currently run a Remington 700 in 6.5CM and it’s a really effective round for predator. My thought process was it’s not broken why try and Fix it. I have a ton of 6.5CM ammo for my current 700s as well.
If you have the money Wilson. If not Seekins. Especially in 6.5 Creedmoor. A lot of retailer have them priced under $2500 online.
Not a chance, Seekins is the clear better rifle. Have Wilson pistol they are great, had Wilson ARs and got rid of them fast. Mine were not reliable with factory ammo and inaccurate.

Most accurate and durable rifle in military testing and won SOCOM contract for a certain special forces unit in 2019. Article above for your review. There is a video on YouTube. With a person complaining about their Seekins not being accurate. Also look on this forum for issues with SP10 rifles. Namely feeding issues. Both are great guns. And the article does mention they change things a lot from their earlier models. So maybe your Wilson’s were from the first Gen? But after handling both. I prefer Wilson.

A magazine article that's a fluff piece is hardly data. Those same rifles sat mainly on the rack because of continued issues. They've given up on them and are waiting to life cycle replace them with something else.
Just google Seekins S10 problems. From Reddit to this forum and more. Not just a fluff piece. If you actually read the whole article. They shot thousands of rounds. And Seekins probably had a rifle there because they are a quality manufacturer. And if you read the article closely it says two different brands of rifles on the rack. Maybe it was. Seekins? But it didn’t make the cut for this contract. Seekins did win a military contract as well. Maybe because they sold more rifles than Wilson is why there are so many people complaining. Good news it seams that Seekins stands behind their rifles. But to be honest I was going to buy a Seekins. But sort of lost the desire to after reading so many negative reviews. Yeah there are a lot of good reviews as well. But my experience tells me where there is smoke there is fire. Didn’t find too much information about Wilson. So I bought one. It was accurate and dependable. So I bought two more. And have had zero problems with any of them. Now if I had problems like oldrifleman had with his. I wouldn’t have bought anymore.
I say this owning three ARs that I put together with Wilson barrels and BCGs:
All three have been reliable, and all three are sub-MOA repeatable for five shot groups (two with mid-weight profile barrels). All three have taken game, and two are in my normal rotation for nighttime pig rifles. That's how much I trust them...to be alone in the dark trying to shoot things that can rip me apart. I harbor no ill will against Wilson, and consider them a very good mid-tier option.
That being said, if I were spending someone else's money today I'd be buying a Seekins SP10. I would consider the barrel rifling processes to be equal between the two really after having watched multiple borescope videos and looking through mine. However, I trust the testing and reviews of Seekins a little more...and I say that with my Wilson 1911 being the best semi-custom I own (and I own more than a couple).
And .308 is a fine coyote round too, if you don't mind destroying the pelt usually. It is pretty epic. Popped one at ~190 yards the other night with an 18" example and 150gr SSTs. Knowing your distance just becomes more critical.

I placed an order in December with Wilson. Should have been at my home in four days. Waited ten. Sent an email to Wilson. They sent a second order out same day. It arrived four days later. Then three weeks the first order shows up. So I email Wilson to return. Their reply was to keep the parts. Wanted a few extra spare parts for my Wilson a year ago. Called because they weren’t listed on their site. Gentle that I spoke too sends the parts to me at no charge. I have noticed that Seekins has a good reputation of taking care of people as well. And I own three of their scope mounts and one of their stocks. Purchased because they are lightweight and strong.
Totally Approve of Wilson as a Company. I just picked up another X9. I just don't think their ARs live up to the reputation of the company name, I would love to be convinced differently (not that I can buy one right now in Washington State anyway , one can dream).
Well if you ever visit Spanish Fort AL. I will let you shoot mine. Your State is beautiful but like my home state of Michigan it needs different leaders. I moved twelve years ago when I saw the writing on the wall. Love my access to firearms and fireworks.
