I'm forever on the hunt for a fix for the kiji 3.

If they had any integrity, they would have done a full audit with an external firm specialized in data breach and they would have contacted all of their customers affected by the breach. How many of their customers got they credit card scammed and are unaware.
Shame.

Bullshit. None of the other companies have this history. There is literally NO reason to give.you guys a penny when there are other nv supply businesss without the long, repeated history of id theft, up to a few months ago. Ill take a business that processes 1000 orders a month with ZERO identity theft over one that does 5000 a month with "only" 3 incidences. That "small" chance (if we believe you, i dont) is good.odds, until its your card thats gone.

Stop derailing the thread. Some of us want to just talk about the Iris and don't give a shit about TNVC or any of their potential issues, past or present, real or imagined. It's totally off topic.
Every time a Chinese manufacturer introduces anything, the china-phobic feel obligated to chime in.
There are good reasons for it. But before the holosun red dots, you had to pay 3 quarters of a grand for rifle rds from aimpoint or half a grand for a pistol rds from trijicon. They also didn't really develope anything new in that decade. I wouldn't either, why innovate (costing money) when I can sit there and make money, since consumers had no other choice. Now look at the previous five years. We've seen a PLETHORA of RDS' in different shapes and sizes.
The same has happened to various parts of the NV market. Majority due to innovate US based brands, but making it possible to enter the market at 3k for a set of binos, definetly opened the niche of NV to a much larger population of the firearms consumer sector.
You don't like Chinese made goods because of xyz reasons, good for you. And yes there are definetly actual concerns present. But virtue signaling by using your reasons is never a good look.
As a consumer, you can't say the increased competition by these Chinese made goods has not force innovation which has only lead to a benefit to the US consumer.
Some facts of this product, it's not a copy of anything. It's under a grand. It actually seems useful. It got thru the entire conformance testing process in around a year.
I find it funny how US made mfals cant claim the above facts. They have all either been vaporware or was promised at x price, but wait they decided to rape you at 3x instead, oh and they still haven't come out with a civ version. Yet somehow holosun has. Say what you will, holosun walked the walk, while other just talked the talk.

To add to all the convo above and to direct it back to some of the specifics of the IRIS itself, not only did Holosun bring an insanely high level of value / performance to the market, but they also truly innovated and got away from the “PEQ15 switchology” that so many LAMs were stuck in.
No more overly complicated acronyms for what setting your on, No more autogating your tubes trying to awkwardly widen/narrow your Illuminator. it’s all very clean and simple.
Which US based LAM manufacturer’s design did they rip off here? Oh wait no one. It’s entirely distinct from the MAWL too

Loved seeing the new LAM that TNVC announced today. Looks amazing. Still 3x what this costs. I'm all for buying American, but come on. 3600 bucks for a LAM?

Looks interesting, but its $3,600? I thought we were just talking about something from the US for under $1600..
Steiner just showed their new ATLAS LAM and it's rumored to be $3,000...and people wonder why Holosun gets so many sales. For my 2 rifles I outfitted them for under $2k with 2 Iris's. I can't afford $6,000-$7,000 for 2...that's bonkers world.
But again, this isn't aimed at us but the military/LEO. Funny thing is a lot of LEOs just run holosun, especially if the department requires them to purchase their own stuff.
Wow that's a lot of buttons and dials to spin! Also, Envision is separate from TNVC I believe; TNVC is selling them though. Crazy light at under 6oz and should be nice and low to the rail at least!
I’m fairly ignorant when it comes to LAMs, etc. but I don’t understate why a company who has the civilian market as an option, is not putting the IR laser directly over the bore, as low as possible. Maybe the offset is insignificant if your not using a diverging zero, but it’s seems like this would have been the next logical step once the front sight post basically went away.
Packaging the internals may be driving design, I have no idea, but M-loc rail design has been fairly “uniform “ for years at this point, with pic rails a standard at 12. They couldn’t wrap the battery and activation button on one side, the aiming laser at 12, low as possible and the illuminator on the other side?
Or, is that what I’m seeing here?
