@Dirty D was out on the golf course one sunny day when he suddenly realized he was lost. Spotting a woman ahead of him, he walked over and asked, Excuse me, could you help me? Im not sure which hole Im on.

She smiled politely and said, Youre one hole behind me. Im on the 7th; youre on the 6th.

Relieved, he thanked her and went back to his game.

A little while later, he found himself lost again. Embarrassed, he noticed the same woman and approached her once more. I hate to bother you again, but Im lost. Can you tell me what hole Im on?

She chuckled and replied, Youre still one hole behind me. Im on the 14th; youre on the 13th.

Grateful for her help, he thanked her again and finished his round.

Later, in the clubhouse, he saw the woman and decided to thank her properly. Can I buy you a drink to thank you for your help out there? he asked.

She agreed, and they started chatting over their drinks. As the conversation flowed, he asked, So, what do you do for a living?
Im in sales, she said with a shy smile.

No way! Me too! he exclaimed. What do you sell?

She hesitated for a moment. Well its a little embarrassing.

Come on, he said, coaxing her. I promise I wont laugh.

After a moment, she sighed and said, Alright, but you really cant laugh. I sell sanitary napkins.

He managed to hold a straight face at first. But then, unable to contain himself, he burst into laughter, doubling over and nearly falling out of his chair, tears streaming down his face.

You promised not to laugh! she exclaimed, glaring at him.

Through his laughter, he managed to choke out, Im sorry! But I cant help it, I sell toilet paper... and Im still one hole behind you!

As much as they make people crazy they are much cheaper and keep expenses lower.

No lights
No poles
No wires
All that “extra town money”..they can funnel it away and give OT

Europe has millions of them
I don't know why some people don't like traffic circles they keep traffic flowing and make sense.

If you would rather stop at a 90-degree intersection waiting for a green light, you are a moron.

When it's the only game in town.... Either that, or you search for an empty plot of land way out in the sticks somewhere and you have to build on it (and incur the time/expense of doing so) and it's far away from ancillary services (shopping, medical, car maintenance, mass transit etc. etc.). That's how it is in this part of FL. Most of it is already sub-divided and deed restricted. And that means, HOAs.

Trust me, I'd love to get out, but the list of available houses or empty lots in this area is minimal. very minimal. I'd have to go farther out and find an empty lot and build on it (taking that time and expense). When I found this place (almost 10 years ago), I just didn't have the time to look. I had to do something fast as I was getting kicked out of my temporary rental house.
An empty plot of land way out in the sticks is exactly what I did. I built in all the infrastructure myself. I built the shop myself. I built the house myself. Cheap, right, fast. You can have two. Mine has been cheap and right. Because I DIY-ed all of it, it is worth 5X what I have in it, and climbing. I don't need ancillary services, because that means being near people. And I don't want to be near people. I created wealth by out-working most people.

In Mass., the "traffic circle" is called a "Rotary." There are four along the way to Woods Hole Mass (to get to the ferry). The most famous one is just after you cross the Bourne Bridge and land on Cape Cod (you see the big bush there with that name) You have to stay on the outside lane to continue down on to Rt. 28 South to get to Woods Hole. The problem being, some cars might not recognize you trying to turn right and want you to continue around the Rotary. One must "assert" one's self.

The "Cape Cod" bush is on the opposite side of that clump of shrubs you see there.
