Demolition Ranch signing off…

I had watched part of it. He said this all started as a goof when he was in college for vet school. (I believe he shares a practice with his father who is also a vet, or is now taking over the business.) And true, you have to protect your family from the crazies.

Good for him.

As our kids start getting older we start to reassess the time sucks we are willing to put up with.

Kids like to watch him along with Kentucky Ballistics. Outdoor Boys, which was a weekend morning staple is also cutting back if not quitting.

Have you tried "How Ridiculous"? Early on they dropped stuff off of a really high (45m) tower. My kids love them from about 9yrs to 12.

He bought and later sold the vet practice. He talked about the Dave Ramsey method a long time ago. Him and his wife supported each other through college, and have always had jobs/rentals/businesses along with YouTube. Grew everything with cash.

He deleted most of the channel, everything that had his kids/wife/house.

A year or two ago he mentioned that the .01% of viewers were creepy and crazy. 10 million subs, it's bound to happen that a handful of people just don't understand boundaries. That's when he said his kids and wife wouldn't be on the channel.

I think it turned into "it's just a job" to work 7 days a week to get videos out. Without his family in them anymore it kinda changed the whole vibe and you could see the stress building.

I'm thinking he's had more problems with crazies, as he's getting rid of his daily driver, hasn't shown any other cars in a long time, etc. Feels like he's trying to go incognito and blend into the background like he's been stalked.

Watched him since probably 2015? Whenever he was still just stuffing random crap in shotgun shells.

Man he blew up and used that money to provide for his family well. I don’t blame him for cashing out from the dumb antics to spend more time with family and probably do more of what he wants when he wants.

Doesn't help that YouTube hasn't paid for a demo ranch video in years. They always get demonetized.

Which is why the add spots in the demo ranch videos for a long time. Getting paid $10k for 60 seconds with millions of guaranteed views is cheap advertising compared to cable networks.

Going off what a few other YouTubers have said that have bought into Bunker branding, I would bet he's debt free and making into the 6 figures just off the merchandising business.

Which is quite genius. He gets to fade away but continue to make money on a whole bunch of other channels by handling all their merch sales.
