They haven’t been at SHOT for like 5 years. I think 2019 was their last one. Vortex reveals come when they feel like it. No real timeframe of the year when they do it.Did Vortex show anything at SHOT that is new for 2025? If not, when do they usually reveal new scopes?
Thanks
I agree... Hey @Scott_at_Vortex ... Hook us forum guys up, bro! Especially if they can make one with a low-pro locking MIL/MIL setup with dialing elevation turret, and available in FDE and black, too...Still wondering we we can't buy the amg 1-10. Have to buy a $6k gun package to get one.....
Man purses.Did Vortex show anything at SHOT that is new for 2025? If not, when do they usually reveal new scopes?
Yes, they reinvented the LBV.
Not a hater, enjoy my G3 Razor a lot.
This........they've owned geo ballistics now for 2 years and nothing to show of it. I honestly expetec a razor HD glass level RF bino with a sexy highly functional geo ballistics solver built in with solid app tethering. I bet we see it in the next 4-6 months.wonder when we get a new gen of their RF binos. seems like they discontinued a lot of old stock
There is the Razor HD 4000 GB LRF and Impact 4000 with GB built in. So they have done something but, still no binos. Hopefully the delay in releasing a bino means they're cooking up something on par with the latest offerings (Vectronix, Sig).This........they've owned geo ballistics now for 2 years and nothing to show of it. I have a review in the works with their latest UHD bino glass compared to some of Germany’s finest and consider me impressed so far…There is the Razor HD 4000 GB LRF and Impact 4000 with GB built in. Is there any comparison to Swaro 15's ? Let's be honest they are the gold standard.I have a review in the works with their latest UHD bino glass compared to some of Germany’s finest and consider me impressed so far…
I expect a set of UHD LRF with GB, but I’ve been expecting that for a while now![]()
They revealed this a few days ago:
I was promised during an expo last year by a Vortex rep that a new model of fury or other rangefinder binos with an etched mil reticle is in the works.
^^^^^This.…something that Vortex has been doing in years past is not announcing a product until they have a good supply of the product so when they announce it, it is there for people to buy and you aren’t sitting around 6 months waiting. It’s pretty smart I think and better for us.
Looks like a shotgun specific enclosed red dot?
I think it's their new 2-20x42 ultra ultra ultra short!!!Looks like a shotgun specific enclosed red dot?
Edit: or just an enclosed red dot that just happens to be mounted on a shotgun for the promotional.
I can understand from their point of view that they currently don't have an enclosed dot product offering, so I don't blame them if that's what they plan to release.I think it's their new 2-20x42 ultra ultra ultra short!!!
Seriously though, would be great if it was a new AMG. Was hoping 2025 would be the year for new AMG designs, but would rather see a long scope AMG from them again...
That's what it looks like, doubt it will be AMG class but hopefully it will be one of their non-chinese lines...I can understand from their point of view that they currently don't have an enclosed dot product offering, so I don't blame them if that's what they plan to release.
Oh God I hope not! The reason we haven't seen any new AMG scopes is because the original AMG group got repurposed; however, there is a new AMG group that is rumored to be hard at work on some new scopes, I really hoped last year would have been the year but I guess COVID (and previous administration) has delayed so much so now hoping this will be the year of AMG resurgence. I'd love to see a new All-American manufacture AMG in the 3-18/4-20 range, under 30oz, with new crossover style reticle that works at bottom mag and at top mag, but what I hope and what actually comes out are not always in alignmentDo they feel the the LHT series generally fills the gap left by the AMG?
All American made 3-18 under 30oz?That's what it looks like, doubt it will be AMG class but hopefully it will be one of their non-chinese lines...

What you and @4O6shootist described is exactly what I’m hoping for lol. Maybe add in the newer style of GEN III turrets also. That's what it looks like, doubt it will be AMG class but hopefully it will be one of their non-chinese lines...

something like a 10x32 UHD RF bino with GB would be idealI have a review in the works with their latest UHD bino glass compared to some of Germany’s finest and consider me impressed so far…

When they came out with the Fury years ago, I asked Vortex for a set using their best glass (pretty sure Fury is Viper glass), one would think it is inevitable but shocked it has been so many years. Now that they own GB maybe more a possibility?something like a 10x32 UHD RF bino with GB would be ideal
what is the AMG?A razor or amg 4-20x50 in the 26oz range would tick a lot of boxes for me!
American Made Glass. They produced a razor AMG 6-24 that had solid glass, 100% American assembled and tested. Japanese glass I believe. Lot of QC issues still, lot of them made a trip(or multiple) back to vortex for service. The gen3 razor has been for the most part, a very reliable scope. So if an AMG gen2 utilizing gen3 razor pedigree(Low manufacturing) it'd be a good price. I love the atacr 4-20x50, have a couple, just wish it was in a lighter package.what is the AMG?
Man I'm way off base. Always thought it was something else. Forgot who told me that. Guess I should have researched more.Advanced Manufacturing Group. Glass was American too.
Did CSTACTICAL stop carrying Vortex? When I search their site it shows no inventory

You have anymore info? HahaCan't wait for Vortex's new tool-less turrets and dual focal optics!
Patents US-12209842-B2 and US-20250004264-A1 may lead you to the promiselands. However, just because they're a patent, doesn't mean they'll be real. I have a couple patents in my name. Two of them never hit production to the public. You have anymore info? Haha
Man, I thought they hit it out of the park with that one, specifically as a cross over optic. The few I saw were all solid, razor reliability, great form factor on rifles, under 30 oz, usable mag range for the average hunter/field shooter. I still look for them on the secondary market from time to time. Not a big deal. Being all American made it might have been one of those names that was made for it. Is what it is. lol
