Vortex 2025?

Man, I thought they hit it out of the park with that one, specifically as a cross over optic. The few I saw were all solid, razor reliability, great form factor on rifles, under 30 oz, usable mag range for the average hunter/field shooter. I still look for them on the secondary market from time to time.

You’re not alone. It was the mag range that killed it me thinks, 6x on the bottom just too much for crossover interest for most.

I still own the 2 Vortex AMG 6-24s that I bought years ago. Still some of my favorites and one of them is on my NRL Hunter rifle. Great scopes. The only thing lacking was a 2nd turn indicator which led me to miss 10mils high on a match stage- very embarassing and a mistake I never made again.
