Its not without weights , the arca is steel , stock is built with front heavy fill and there are weights under the barrel like i said there are just no weights on the m-locks ,you can also see a weight on the front of the arca its the smallest one i made at 650g/23oz but even heavier ones can be used impeding the function of the arca at any point , as its designed for bolt on accessories.
Weighed my Anschutz forend bits
Steel Arca & m-lock rails - 850g / 30oz
Internal under barrel weight 1150g/ 40,5oz - space left for further 150-200g
Font Weight 615g/ 21.7oz
Point i was trying to make is that the front balance was achieved with some reserves to spare even on a skinny barrel so i am confident i can achieve similar on stock CZ MTR barrel.. Of course fat barrels are prefered way to front balance.
Remember for us folks over the pond in 'Eurostans' barrel changes are less trivial(permits ,gunsmiths) and more expensive so enabling a balancing of stock barrels or typical prefits that are nowhere close to L3i barrel diameter was a factor.
Stock MTR barrel as you can there is ample space for weights under the barrel .
Space under the barel fits a roughly 1kg/35oz steel or 1.3 kg/46oz lead weights , plus 600+g/21oz weight in front of the stock
