Two single egine pistons (Cessna 172 and a Lancair 360) hit each other at an uncontrolled airport.

This shit happens everyday its just a big ticket headline item at the moment. Like a mass shooting that was actually just a drive by in du hood.
Classic high wing vs low wing.... it happens enough that they talk about it during flight training.......a lot!

No tower at that field. VFR separation and reporting where you are in the pattern (and yeah, my USAF flight career was so long ago we still flew biplanes so perhaps this has changed??)
