China Invading?

A little bird told me that those islands circled to the northeast were currently getting US airbases built on them. Any island hopping operation proceeding northwest might get the attention of the roughly 18,000 marines in Okinawa...as those islands hope their way right towards 'em.

Well if that's true- perhaps I'm onto something with my contrary to public opinion thoughts on not putting our focus onto Taiwan... In any event- appreciate you sharing that scoop.

opposite take from many of us. actually hope you are right. if you are correct about their incompetence and poor equipment,do you really belive that ours is any better? and yes, they don't have any recent experience since about '79. we had a battle hardened, experienced military which has been pissed on and away but DEI,woke, covid and afgan bail out. we can't recruit and the ones we get would not have mentally, physically or socially qualified 25 years ago. any military is a dim reflection of it's society. yes they have financial and social problems. do you believe ours are not as bad or much worse? you discount them because they dress up pretty when required? ever see pictures of a USMC dress parade event in 1944,52,68,05? real pretty,so they couldn't fight? any kind of nuc exchange finishs us off. social fabric won't hold with a small amount of that kind of damage. they MIGHT be more resilient. no way to know. i don't want to learn. we don't have 30K military aged males in china that are who knows where.
Conventional Threat
US military equipment is vastly-superior and manufactured in numbers that no other nation has ever been able to match (quality/quantity).
Russians cranked out a lot of hot Slav garbage that was turned into scrap metal by US equipment every time the 2 faced in battle (fighters, armor).

Even after China bribed the Bushes, Clintons, Obamas, and Bidens to sell them everything under the sun to upgrade their military during the distraction years (1990s-forward, including high speed aircraft mfg and assembly line tech, ballistic missile tech, and advanced Radio comms just as a few examples), their leadership manages to seize failure from the jaws of 1/4 parity with the US. Chinese culture doesn’t have a place for things like maintenance, surprise visit inspections from non-organic officers to the sub-units (ORS), accountability, or proactivity at maintaining and training the force.

Gun guys try to see the world through the lens of small arms, but if you look at things like aerospace and naval power, weapons test and validation, large force exercises, combined arms campaigns/air-land battle concepts, and intelligence prep/intel cycles, a larger and important picture forms.

I’ve been tracking PLAAF aviation accidents up until Xi turned off any reporting on them. These are guys who have relied on Slav squat jet engines until recently, and 99% of their fighter force is powered by Russian gas turbine engines (with stolen and attempts to copy US jet engines). As you go down the list of mishaps, you see a really high rate of things like, “engine caught fire/exploded in-flight” with their Flanker variants and J-10. If we believe their reporting, their new J-20 is "immaculate and accident-free!”. Amazing! We’re talking about a primitive people who have not leveled-up to 20th Century industrial concepts culturally, let alone the 21st Century.

The mighty dragon

The PLAAF, PLN, and PLA couldn’t even sit down and do an AAR the way we do in the US. The French can’t even do one due to cultural resistance to criticism among the elite class, and the French are bad asses at modern aerial and naval warfare. If you want to see officers squirm in their seats, watch foreign officers attend US LFEs post-mission where there are no sacred cows and we meticulously go through every mistake that anyone saw made, from the comments of the lowest-ranking enlisted female in-attendance up to the Blue Forces commander admitting their mistakes and then talking through what we could have done better, then how to incorporate those into the decision-making processes for the next iteration.

In the Eastern systems, exercises are dog-and-pony shows designed to make dear leader happy or else you’re fired or disappear for causing shame on yourself, your unit, and your country, even when you followed his inept orders to the T. Behind his back, you see what you can get away with selling off military equipment on the black market so you can rub a few coins together for some beer and pork.

It is true that the Soviets launched cultural and ideological warfare against the US with the civil rights movement and entertainment, which now manifests as DEI after we fully-integrated all races into the armed forces and kept moving forward. But what role does DEI play in Large Force Exercise and the manufacturing bases of the 100 major defense contractors and thousands of subcontractors? Is it dominant or marginal? We recognize it as marginal and eroding capability in many units and organizations, while we continue to run 4 major fighter production lines, multiple missile and precision-guided munitions assembly lines, improved rocket motor and explosives industries, while pioneering and continuing to evolve UAS.

When they run Red Flag, JRTC, NTC, Northern Edge, RF Alaska, Atlantic Trident, Talisman Saber, Valiant Shield, FOAL EAGLE, and NATO LFEs, nobody gives a rip about DEI, especially the nations who are expressly-threatened by regional actors on or near their borders and spheres of influence. Imagine trying to sell the Poles, Japs, or ROKs on DEI in the middle of an LFE, for example.

The fact that retards like China and Russia are relying on marginal subterfuge like DEI and asymmetric actions just exposes how utterly weak they are at the core, even with their geriatric pedophile plant in the US White House and his cabinet. This is why Russia has leaned so heavily on espionage, planting moles throughout the institutions, political compromises, and disinformation. They fundamentally are aware of how poor they are, their lack of access to the trade routes, and their inability to project power.

China isn’t even tested in this space and deep down inside, the worst thing that could happen to them is to lash out militarily even against a small nation in their own backyard and get skull-dragged like tiny Vietnam did to them in ‘79. All their cheap Asian wannabe pomp and circumstance built up all these years getting face-caved would trigger an internal collapse of the CCP, fragmenting of the mainland into political regions and civil war, and a subsequent global economic depression due to lack of cheap rubber dog excrement on Amazon not shipping.

Asymmetric Threat
This is why the asymmetric threat should be taken more seriously because it’s their best avenue of maneuver, so I share that concern and agree there because I have been watching and studying it for 40 years. The problem there is they have bribed a lot of people throughout the US, and we are vulnerable due to how woven organized crime is into our unconstitutional and constitutional institutions. Chicoms and Russians have been inside the FBI, State Dept, DoD, CBP, DEA, CIA, Senators, Congressmen, State governments, and institutions for decades. Russians have been co-opting the FBI, CIA, DoD, Senate, House, Governors, and Presidents since the 1930s, seeded the CIA with 200 doubles before it even existed, and helped elect 420 members of Congress.

But they still have to compete with every other entity that bribes, including Wall Street, old European powers, Pharma, finance, energy, and the top 20 industries that do trillions in volume each year. We have industries in the US who have comparable annual volume to Russia’s GDP, for example. Politicians get greedy and play these interests against each other. We do need a cleaning of house/purge of the traitors and sell-outs who have betrayed America as a matter of institutional policy at this point.

Just to illustrate my opinion instead of Taiwan being part of a land mass, it's an island being threatened by a nation with one of the world's largest Navy's.... why would they even bother to fuck with it when they can gain significantly more ground with next to no resistance and after setting up fortifications (likely against Japan... maybe the US...) and Taiwan is cut off, well behind enemy lines and given that position why wouldn't China just say "meh, I'll deal with them next year"?

It’s a matter of legitimacy and status for the CCP. They know the legitimate government of China went into exile to Taiwan, while demonic murderous communists took over the mainland. The conquest of Taiwan is something on their main priorities list, but they don’t have the military capacity to do it and know that they would risk being humiliated at their lack of power, so it scares them. They know that throughout the system, people cheat and lie about weapons status, availability, and that everyone has to report 100% up or lose their jobs and shame their leadership. They can’t even manage their flooding issues from the monsoons due to how they have milked the soil for centuries when American hemisphere foods were imported during the Spanish era of exploration in the 1600s (pre-United States). That’s what fueled their population explosion when they stole those sample foods from the Americas, which were in the Philippine markets.

In order to deal with the hockey stick after centuries of exponential growth, the CCP finally instituted infanticide with One Child policy from 1980-2015, murdering at least 100 million female babies, and roughly 51 million male babies either in-utero or at birth. This fundamentally eviscerates the idea that they are great long-game thinkers anymore, since they cut their future out from under them.

iu

In the next decade, they will move into a demographic structure where 50% of the population will be 62 or older. I said this many years prior to Wuhanflu that if they could push a biological weapon button and erase most of their elderly in a hidden way (elderly are revered in Confucianism), they wouldn’t hesitate. A nice vascular disease agent that clots your alveoli in the lungs, targeting the elderly disproportionately....might do wonders for their population control. If only they could have gotten help from the University of Chapel Hill, North Carolina for such a task, with Chinese researchers on-staff for gain-of-threat research for zoonotic agents that manifest these symptoms....

At some point the CHICOMs are going to make a go at Taiwan. When is anyone’s guess.

Has anyone heard anything regarding this?

Bullshit I hope?
A major concern is the following scenario:
A nuke is detonated 20 miles about the center of the US, knocking out the power grid and all communications.
Chinese troops, vehicles and weapons pour from containers on ships in every port, flooding the perimeter of the country with overwhelming force.
Interior military bases are simultaneously overrun after being barraged from Chinese owned land surrounding them.
The war is over as fast as it started, the nation is in lockdown and now China has all the oil they'll ever need. Then they take Taiwan.

Or they use those CHICOMs inside our borders to create an internal dilemma synchronized with an operation to seize Taiwan.

Another major concern is the following scenario:

A nuke is detonated on Washington, DC. All the little-red-book Commies on The Sniper's Hide finally emerge from Mom's basement shouting, "HOORAY, WE FINALLY WON!!!"

They ask their new Commie overlords when they will be issued their anime girlfriends, and are dismayed to learn that Japan is not part of China.

China puts them to work in manufacturing like the Uighurs and tries to reeducate them... but soon finds out (like the Fuyao plant in Ohio) that they can not deliver to acceptable quality levels and can not be educated.

They turn them into Soylent Green and feed them to their CCP manufacturing workforce, who consider it a huge upgrade from Rats and Bats.
