But they'll just ignore that too.

Word on the street is that they've lost a LOT of their staff, parts are piling up in some sort of storage area (I saw pictures of thousands of rusty rifle barrels) and the majority of the remaining staff are staying silent about what's going on. Take that for what it's worth as I read all of it second hand. Are they going out of business, or getting out of the AR15 business?
That photo doesn't show a whole lot.Word on the street is that they've lost a LOT of their staff, parts are piling up in some sort of storage area (I saw pictures of thousands of rusty rifle barrels) and the majority of the remaining staff are staying silent about what's going on. NO ,they were at Shot ShowAre they going out of business, or getting out of the AR15 business?

Have you tried the email on their website that I linked to on the first (or second) page of this thread?I ordered same week and have not heard a thing. I was in no rush to get it but they charged my card immediately and I'm loosing my patience. Not because I need it but they won't respond to email and I've had no luck with the chat option.
The create a support ticket one? Yes. Tried calling multiple times as well, just put earbuds in at work(self employed) and after maybe 1.5hrs first time and almost 3 the second I ended the calls as I had other things to do.
This is sad to hear because it seems something similar has happened at Ballistic Advantage, their barrel supplier. I know a few people who have quit over the last year or so. Sadly they were actual shooters which is why they couldn't stick around with how much management has totaly ignored QC and only cared about numbers. Apparently they were trying to bring too many new products online at the same time while having apparently no actual shooters on their engineering team? This is what I was told first-hand by actual former high-ranking and reliable Aero employees that quit (not got fired). Which is unironically the exact same thing I got in that text message screen-shot I posted a few weeks before, but was forced to delete because Aero's lawyers bitched to the site admins, and threatened legal action if they didn't delete it. Only people trying to hide the truth threaten legal action like that, because if it was just fake made-up rumors, they probably wouldn't even look twice about it. But they know it's true, so they try to keep it quiet. It's apparently a clown circus over there now.
Partly the first one... But also a worthless GM, who has done this at EVERY company he's worked for, and brought all his worthless asshats with him over to Aero. And they bully the other employees, make the female employees uncomfortable, and are just dickholes to the good employees, and when that happened a whole bunch of the good people who worked there (some for decades) quit, or they were fired, and numerous others got fired because they stood up for the other good employees that he fired.
I hope Aero gets their shit together and fires that creep that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. I swear he must be an anti-gun industry plant sent to takedown the big companies from the inside, because this has happened EVERY SINGLE PLACE he's been put in charge in the last 10 years or so.
I hope your correct, but I'll wait a few months before I order anything from them. Not really planning on a build soon anyway, but glad they came to their senses.I have some news that I received yesterday, that came straight from a high-up inside source @ Aero... That douchebag GM the hired, Ryan Donahue (creepy weirdo), who was the root cause of the problems at Aero... Has now been fired, and they are in the process of rebuilding their reputation and trying to get things back to normal.
So, fingers crossed, things will go back to being normal soon, and they can start having excellent CS and sales/shipping, like they were before that assclown got hired and fucked everything up.
Same…I hope your correct, but I'll wait a few months before I order anything from them. Not really planning on a build soon anyway, but glad they came to their senses.
Something is happening over there.
If you look at the website, they've actually marked a TON of things out of stock. Whereas prior, they were in stock but...well, we all know how that goes.
Interesting.
I really hope they turn this ship around.
Better order now if you want it before Christmas 2026!I hope your correct, but I'll wait a few months before I order anything from them. Not really planning on a build soon anyway, but glad they came to their senses.
I mentioned something about that in the other big Solus thread in the bolt action section. One of the reasons why everything was taking so long to ship, was the retard GM (Donahue) was making them advertise out of stock items as "in stock" to push sales, and not telling the customers they were backorders. He was also the one pushing all those annoying ass email flyers 5x a day... That shit was irritating. The insider that shall remain nameless said that immediately after his firing last week, they started changing things that were out of stock, to saying "out of stock" to avoid this bullshit from happening again.Something is happening over there.

Reading any interview with that jack-wagon was nothing but CEO fad of the month club buzzword bullshit. Hopefully it is not too late for them to right the ship.I mentioned something about that in the other big Solus thread in the bolt action section. I'm glad to hear they are following through and fixing this shit. Baby steps, but they add up to full-correction if they keep at it.
Just a little teaser for those still waiting...
New video is up going 5 for 5 with the new 8.3" Solus .300 BLK pistol & TBAC Magnus @ 300 yards. Sorry for the audio, the gongs didn't pickup very clearly in this video, so you have to listen carefully.
I don’t think the O’Neill Ops guys like 300BO for coyotes when they tested them. Not sure of the ranges they tested at.Yeah I'm thinking about a 300blk pistol for "close to the house" coyotes. This just confirmed my thought process.
Especially not with subs, with a 50 yard zero you'll need different holds at 75 and 100. Utah Airguns with a .30 slug sleeve in a M4 Impact set up with Thermal is going to be more beneficial.I don’t think the O’Neill Ops guys like 300BO for coyotes when they tested them. @skinney_7?
Wha? lol you lost me there. Are you talking about one of these airguns?Utah Airguns with a .30 slug sleeve in a M4 Impact set up
A lot of AP stuff is still out of stock in most places I look.
I recently completed an Aero build with a BA barrel... 20" fluted DMR 8 twist Wylde. Rifle length gas of course.
Tried running a carbine buffer system with it. It was a bit "punchy" so I threw an Aero AGB and a rifle length stock and buffer on it... Immediate improvement in function and accuracy. Sub MOA with some Frontier ammo I tried.
Finished up a carbine upper build a few weeks ago... Just cobbled it together with some components I had laying around. Again, the system was overgassed and function/accuracy weren't what I was looking for.
Went to get another Aero adjustable gas block for it from the usual outlets. No joy. Out of stock everywhere... Bought a CMMG AGB and tube instead. Never again... Horrible workmanship. I made it work and saw improvement... But it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Hopefully AP is able to right the ship and move on.
I keep hearing it said that "no one wants to work" as the underlying cause for all the shortages...
In my experience, bad management will wreck a company 1000x faster than shitty floor hands... Especially when it comes to machining/manufacturing... It's always some jerkoff with a crusader mindset who thinks he's going to "take the company to the next level" by saving an ⅛ of a penny on some critical part or process. And he fucks up a proven performance process every damn time.
