Great. That’s not what I wanted to hear. I wish I would have seen this thread before I ordered. I don’t know how it could take longer than a week to process an order for an in stock item unless it’s not really in stock.
I ordered a in stock action also on around blsck friday, I gave up last week and did a charge back after not being able to get ahold of anyone. Order status went to complete pretty quick, so they are keeping track just not shipping quick or don't have the items to ship. Got a better deal at primary arms.

Well, it looks like the 22" shouldered pre-fit 6.5 CM Sendero contour barrel I ordered on 12/13 finally shipped.

Still no f'ing action to put it on, despite being ordered 3 weeks before... guess if it takes them a month to ship a contract over-run barrel - which by definition kinda has to be already done and sitting there on the shelf - then WTF knows how long it'll take for them to actually make the Solus .223 action?
 
I ordered an Overstock Solus barrel on 09/30. On 11/03, I still hadn’t received any shipping notification and their website status continued showing “order processing” (but my credit card had already been charged). I emailed them 11/04 demanding a refund and order cancellation. I received tracking information on 11/08, but to this day I have never received a return email from their customer service…

Received my barrel, and in the end I have no complaints. I received a $200 prefit barrel, and the quality appears to be good (though I haven’t shot it, as it’s a future replacement), but the CS issues are frustrating. I doubt I purchase from them again considering any issues in product fulfillment or quality control will apparently never be dealt with…

You do know that a .223 bolt face is not the same as a 6.5CM... Just wanting to make sure you got the extra .478" bolt head to make that barrel work...

But could you do us a favor and edit your thread title to show the proper spelling of Aero, so it shows up when people search for it on the 'net or even here on SH? (You spell it incorrectly as aReo).

I messaged them through Facebook today and I got a response from a marketing person. Basically said they don’t know have any information on order status but it’s taking 4+ weeks for most orders to go out. Basically be patient and wait was the response. He blamed it on the holidays that they are behind. It sounds like they need a serious overhaul in the shipping department and the customer service needs to be addressed as well.

That was removed because their lawyers complained to the site admins. I guess the truth hurts sometimes. 🙄

But to summarize… Recent GM, but not a new one…He’s ran everywhere into the ground that he’s worked (according to numerous sources). But some bad changes have taken place leading to the incompetent being put in charge, and a lot of good people that were there, were either fired, or quit because of the clown GM and his comrades.

Exactly. If it wasn’t true, they’d probably just ignore it, and claim it’s just gossip.
 
Finally got through to the chat system today to ask about my order status. I ordered on the Jan. 1, 2025. The LW long action was shown in stock and still shows in stock today. This is their reply.

Customer Service:
Your order is in good standing. The FFL appears to have been confirmed, but these are still processing through the warehouse. Most of our items are assembled or made to order. In this case, it looks like we are waiting on a piece to finish the builds. The last update I had was sometime in February. We do apologize for the delay. I have upgraded your shipping to FedEx Express and they will send you an email with the tracking once available.

Then it should say, "Backorder" or "Pre-Order" with a ship-date estimate, and not "in-stock" as if it's ready to ship. These fuckers are losing customers due to the gay creeper-looking GM that's running it into the ground...Just like he has down with every company before that he was a part of...Exactly like the info I was told by people who used to work there, and quit over a lot of this same shit.

They are not being truthful with their customers. I won’t be buying direct from them ever again.

The only time I'm buying direct, is if I'm not in a damn hurry for anything... I hope by summertime they've got this shit back on track, with fast shipping and actually selling in-stock products, and will actually answer the phones and have a real CS department again... They used to be one of the best, but that went to shit almost overnight for some reason.
 
Got ahold of the CC company, and disputed the charges. After a few days, they issued a credit back to my card, but said the case was 'still under investigation'. Meanwhile, my order still shows 'processing' on Aero's website - same as it has for two months.
It will switch pretty quick. They are keeping track of payment for sure.
 
Don't have a clue as too the major malfunction at Aero ,I do know it's screwing their reputation royally .

For MY final build ( of course it had to be the last one ) I decided NOT to purchase parts ,as the sum total was more coin than a stock-less complete M5 lower and website showed in stock 3-8 days shipping . That folks was in early November and I'M STILL WAITING !.

Those piss-ants have diversified into the clown color scheme nonsense of ludicrous delusions of grandeur . How about just making the F ing parts pin heads and SHIP already !!!. :mad:

Threaten them with an email saying you will stop payment if you fail to receive a shipping confirmation within a week. That strategy worked for a few of us.

It's a violation of credit card policy ,if a company charges your card and doesn't ship within 30 days after charging the card .

Exceptions IF company sends a notice as too the delay but it MUST be in Writing or Email . Hell Aero was delinquent on Mine in December ,as they charged in November . My CC company has the documentation ,as I wasn't able to reach anyone after several attempts . Yet 1 St. time call from the Bank and she got right through ( can you say caller ID ) . They gave Me an Email stating delivery date and if they don't keep it . Not only will charges be reinstated too MY account but Legal action will ensue ,as a violation of consumer credit fraud !. They've either got totally worthless ordering and shipping personnel or financial issues or perhaps both ?.

This is what I was told first-hand by actual former high-ranking and reliable Aero employees that quit (not got fired). Which is unironically the exact same thing I got in that text message screen-shot I posted a few weeks before, but was forced to delete because Aero's lawyers bitched to the site admins, and threatened legal action if they didn't delete it. Only people trying to hide the truth threaten legal action like that, because if it was just fake made-up rumors, they probably wouldn't even look twice about it. But they know it's true, so they try to keep it quiet. It's apparently a clown circus over there now.

Partly the first one... But also a worthless GM, who has done this at EVERY company he's worked for, and brought all his worthless asshats with him over to Aero. And they bully the other employees, make the female employees uncomfortable, and are just dickholes to the good employees, and when that happened a whole bunch of the good people who worked there (some for decades) quit, or they were fired, and numerous others got fired because they stood up for the other good employees that he fired.

I hope Aero gets their shit together and fires that creep that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. I swear he must be an anti-gun industry plant sent to takedown the big companies from the inside, because this has happened EVERY SINGLE PLACE he's been put in charge in the last 10 years or so.
 
Well miracles do happen apparently ,because I received notice of shipment late last night .

All I can say is truthfully ,I personally had never had an issue with Aero Precision ,up until November of 2024 . I've been dealing with them for several years and they always shipped within days of ordering ,NOT months !. I've never had to send a single item back either .

IF their platforms weren't so damn accurate , I'd have been history a couple of months ago .

The damnedest thing about it all ,it only takes a simple Email to explain delays and by not doing so ; They run the risk of lost revenue and UNHAPPY customers . Bad mouthing with cause ,gets around to consumers and makes people look elsewhere or hesitate .
