Honestly, he would likely turn down a pardon from Trump. He intentionally pled guilty to federal charges equal to time on the state charges because of the hope federal prison would be safer. Still got stabbed, but maybe not as often. If Trump pardoned him, he would go straight to a Minnesota prison.
