Best trigger for a precision rifle build?

For Bolt guns Most people either run a Trigger Tech Diamond or a Bix and Andy Tacsport. Jewel, Timney, Huber, ect are pretty much irrelevant.

Hard to go wrong with either. Pick a single or 2 stage and then a curved or flat trigger show.

Its all preference so what other people tell you is best or they like means NOTHING to you. You need to figure out what YOU like and what works for you.

It tends to be a personal thing, but I prefer two stage triggers. I have both TTand B&A, I like them both, but would put my B&A Tac Sport Pro X on top of my TT. That thing is smooth.

Just looking for opinions on different triggers you guys have on precision rifles, what do you think the best trigger is? thanks in advance!
Could define "Precision Rifle"? Is this a precision coyote gun, benchrest gun, f class, etc? Bolt gun or semi auto? Which action are you going to run, Savage is a lot different than Coup De Grace and the trigger choices change as well.

I'm running a Solus action, more of a bench rest rifle build, I'm thinking there's not a right or wrong answer when it comes to looking at the TT or B&A up there at that price point.

I have a TT Diamond on my new 6 GT. I have another on my 6 ARC. Never looked back. Rock solid and incredible consistent. 3 years on my 6 ARC and I test it after every cleaning because cleaning fluids could get in there. The Diamond has never varied from day one, it's always 8-ounces! I use the straight trigger, which I most prefer over curved ones. It's a touch/repeatability thing....

I've used a lot of triggers, the best feeling trigger is a properly tuned Bix n Andy. I have had no issues with TT, BNA, OR Timney in the field but sounds like BnA can have issues in poor conditions, but all triggers can fail. Unless you plan on running really light pull weights, a TT special tuned down to 1-1.5# will do everything a diamond will for less money(have several rifles set up this way). I know Europtic had them on sale a week ago for like $175.

Never used a Bix and Andy but have used a lot of Timney and TT and they work great. The use of the Special is a good piece of info as I have them too as my triggers aren’t under a pound and it feels like my Diamonds set at the same weight.

Jewel is gone recommending them is retarded. Really its between the TT diamond and the Bix tac sport pro
they do feel different. You cant go wrong with either one. In my opinion after having them both disassembled
the bix appears sturdier than the TT.

The several Bix I have owned all feel a little vague, not quite mushy but not crisp. I just never liked that feel. They were all consistent, which is the most important though.

After owning several I became a big fan of the Tubb T7T. Other than the body of the trigger not fitting in a chassis or stock that has a bridge right in front of the trigger inlet I don’t know why they never really caught on. They are a true 2 stage trigger, which in my opinion is very important and much safer than not.
