Putting together a 20" 7 SAUM for hunting and reading other forum posts and so forth on speeds. Looks like roughly 2700-2800 seems achievable with 175-180. Would running it suppressed add any speed? I don't need any but was just curious after I thought about. Will be using a TBAC Ultra 7 on it make velocity increase?

I doubt it. Some say they see maybe 10fps but I wouldn’t expect anything. None of mine have given me any velocity boost.

Whenever I've checked my rifles, a suppressor has added single digits (sometimes low teens) of average MV, comparing 20-shot strings. There's likely some noise in those comparative readings as well. If you want more velocity, add length to your barrel.
