Was another great match. This one was a bit more challenging for me, as they reduce points (added time) for C zone by 1.5 seconds and 3 points for D zone. 10 seconds for a failure to engage. I’m not used to this and it caused me to think about height over bore more but ultimately I still dropped them out the bottom of the A zone on a LOT of USPSA targets. Overall, I like the accountability, and it was a slower stage for (almost) everyone.
There was also no lum., just stars, and those only until about midnight. It was dark. I tried to run with my lamp off and ran right past a stage sign. (Did I mention is was dark). Got to the next stage sign and I had to go back to find stage 2. This added probably .3 a .5 miles to my run, maybe 10 minutes as well.
Lesson learned, and I am soliciting input here, I treated my lenses (all of them, dots, scope and glasses) with Cat Crap and it didn’t work worth a Fuck. I struggled With two stages because my dots and scope were milky . I think the heat off my body caused them to fog. Yes, they were ambient temp before stepping off. I would really like to know if someone has figured out way to run with glass and keep it from fogging.
