seems like that 6.5 is still hammering away even approaching 3k rounds. Crazy stuff
I’m pretty sure it’s finally about done. Don’t know exactly how many rounds but probably a few over 3k
Amazing Rifle, think I would want a bit more barrel but I bet that thing is way to hike with. What sling is that?

when you say done, does that mean its no longer shooting that 0.44 inch group at 600?
Or like the general definition of shot out?
Took my new to me Sierra 51 to the range today mounted a ZCO 5-27 in Area 419 rings. Was amazing when I did my part. Two best groups were .48 and .51. Will be better next trip. I do understand why Mike said I should be be in an X-Ray 51, stock felt a bit small but I am adapting.

Thanks, Mike warned me it was likely shot out based on his memories of who bought it originally. That said, the barrel looks pristine ( was told by seller that it had maybe less than 50 rounds through it), finish was near perfect and its condition is excellent. I may have defiled it with a new trigger and a area419 top rail, but it is now mine. I was only able to put 40 rounds through it but I look forward to many more rounds going through it.That Sierra 51 is flat out old school cool. Congrats!
Not to derail but if your looking in that top dollar “level” ZCO and TT are where you should be concentrating.
Lots of X vs Y scope threads on here, but unless there is a ret you love from the SB, do some more research.
I picked a pair up when Jason had them at a stupid price. I could not pass it up.
yeah, i am looking at them also, but i thought the 6-36 was damn near perfect, and i wouldnt pay that money for them. i can get a used TT 5-25 for mid- $3k.
