Had my first issue with the Ckye double pull. Here’s a simple check/fix/cleaning for someone to avoid the same.

The spring/brass pin assembly in the leg got some dirt from the corn or alfalfa field in it. Had issues with the brass pin being able to move eventually just seizing it up in the unlock position where the leg wouldn’t lock into place.

Simple fix but a good place to make a regular service area in the off season

On another note after the cleaning I installed some new pod knobs. Really nice upgrade for anyone looking

I do it every stage. Half the time the shitty lil spreader buttons have loosened up
I did have one of the legs bolts loose on mine. Which I didn’t know.

I honestly love the thought into this bipod. It would however be cool if they made (some of which is made by @Prknives) thumb screws for the major bolts. Including where the hinge is where the legs deploy.

Let’s be honest this is a gamer bipod. I wouldn’t put it with a Harris or atlas designed to beat up a bit. I’m waiting for the pins for the spreader adjustment to break one day. That seems to be a common issue as well

I think it be nice if there was a design that allowed you to quickly disassemble/clean/lube the major parts of this bipod. It’s very unique and serves its purpose very well.

It’s not hard to take apart as it is honestly. But I think of this bipod as like a race gun. Well tuned machine as long as the maintenance is kept up.

It's definitely a "gamer" bipod. I haven't been shooting comps and I doubt I'll have any time this year to do so either. That said, I love this bipod, the speed at which you can deploy it and make adjustments is next level. Bug I agree, I question its long term durability and I doubt it'll hold like an Atlas.

I'm apparently the only one who got one that had proper lock-tite. 5 years and nothing has come loose or broken.

Grease and lube attracts dirt. We have lots of dirt. I have never let lube anywhere near mine and it's flawless.
I do know a guy who decided to smear lithium grease to make it smoother. It locked up with dirt the next match.

I beat the piss out of mine with no issues. I really wonder what the hell some guys are doing.

I don’t shoot comps. Never lubed it with anything either. I did now after cleaning it so we’ll see how it holds up
