Title pretty much says it: my Arken SH4J 6-24 lasted about 400 rounds on a 308 bolt gun before starting to fail.

Initial indication was "known good" match grade ammo starting to open up from typical 0.5moa groups to 1.5moa with lots of random flyers. In addition, 0.1mil adjustments to the turrets resulted in actual POA shift of 0.5mils.

I initially checked all torques specs and retested with the same result. When I swapped out the scope itself, my typical accuracy immediately returned. I have concluded that the scope is the issue and am now working to return the scope for replacement under warranty.

Hopefully I will update with a positive experience with Arken customer service. I have already noticed they don't post a phone number and they don seem to have a specific site or email for returns. I did request a RMA yesterday and am awaiting a response.

If you want to stay on the budget scope train, then I suggest getting a refund from Arken, and buy a DNT 7-35x56 from @gr8fuldoug ... Better scope, better glass, better build quality, better company to buy from, and Doug is extremely accessible, and warranties the things he sells, and has amazing customer service both before and after the sale. 👍🏼
