Vudoo Gun Works V-22 Rimfire Bolt Action

Lots of crazy info here. Current owner is saying they're simply moving and things are fine but someone (assuming employee) says the opposite. This could both be true I guess. If the new owner has already set up a new shop then it's just bad communication on his part. If he hasn't setup a full shop then I don't see a world where I could move a production line anywhere and be setup within a month.

Wouldn't there be some record of a filing within the Oklahoma Secretary of State corporation database? Seems like if a gun manufacturer was moving to the state there would be some sort of filing. Nothing shows up.

Agree with others- there is more to the story.

It's also a shame the way all of this is being handled. Second rate at best. Whoever thought that alienating employees, vendors and customers was a good idea or didn't see this mess as an avoided one should smacked hard and forced to talk with David Hogg for 36 hours.

Well, the phone hasn’t stopped blowing up over the last week or so, so I decided to ignore it and head to the range. And after all the doom and gloom, what better to take than the rifle that started it all, the original RAVAGE.

As some here may remember, this is the very first of my 40X Repeater Conversions used to test the magazines. Funny thing though, I can’t remember ever trying out the newer aluminum mags in it.

Anyway, it still hammers. First two shots to check dope at 100, then a three shot group.

Stop for a moment and have fun guys, something tells me things will work out just fine.

If you own or run a metal fab business, you know how hard it is to get good skilled labor. Welders are not easy to find, a great brake operator is even harder... a machinist is harder yet.. If my lease ran out. and I had the skilled labor to run my company..I would not move over a couple of states..I would move right down the street or across town to keep said labor..I would also give out info to my customers, saying that we are moving, well in advance..especially if you had a order already in.. I am by no means Elon Musk, but this doesn't add up as smart business people making smart business decisions. Employees didn't know (maybe, but I believe that post) there sponsored shooters that I have talked too didn't know..No forewarning to the customers. Leases are signed contracts done in years, so that had to be known about for a long time Unless there was lack of payment and forced to leave.. That Ex employees post seems most likely.

FYI , on a other forum they pulled the ffl list , no vudoo or Herman ?
So the consensus is it’s sketchy,,,,,, it does not look like they are moving to OK , as one person put it that would be a way to stall people to keep them off their backs for a bit
Now , people are people , and we are curious about what’s going on in our small circle maybe even a bit concerned but as MB put it , we should be having fun ,,,,,,,,,I am like the rest of you in that I wonder what’s going on and I want to know what’s going on ,,,,,,, but will we ever really know ????? Even if they come out and talk , will it be the truth ? Why worry about it ?
I , for one, I’m tired of lies deceit and BS I just enjoy my peace now
So , relax , don’t fret , enjoy the show , it will be what it will be

Look at the press from other folks in the industry moving. Rearden, Resiient, even S&W. Or even look at a lot of the machining companies posting new equipment on socials like Gray Ops and Area 419.

If my business was moving, I would have stuff plastered everywhere. In this day and age customers and keeping customers informed matters. That’s just my opinion.

I understand people's concern, but this type of post is not good for anybody, it is speculation that spreads fear and doubt and causes even more grief for me. I have fielded enough calls already about things that people said on the internet. I am behind schedule and more calls asking about stuff like this hurts me even more.
The FFL IS valid, and on the list, searching by a name means nothing. Knowing where and how to search is relevant.
Now go have fun, as MB said everything will be fine.

@68hoyt I know what you're trying to say here, and it's correct that an FFL would need to be in place before Vudoo can legally ship serialized product from the new location, but, based on what has been claimed, the FFL would be in the application phase at this point. IF the application for a new FFL is in at the ATF and is in process, there would be no result to show in a general search, as it pertains to any alleged re-location, etc. But the way I see it is in direct agreement with @jstiller, if they don't make it, and they may not (just calling it the way I see it), the hole will be filled, which is more of what the message is in my posts above while at the range today.

Having said all that, and this is for everyone, please continue to speak freely, no one needs to shut up about this....These threads are still mine and anything related to the title(s) will not be off topic. Without genuine, honest input, that's constructively presented, nothing changes for the better.

The greater reason this has turned into such a dumpster fire is there's no one at Vudoo effectively managing a narrative (that makes sense) that serves this community. This community is what makes companies exist, or not, by way of an ability to vote with a wallet. It's as simple as that. But when there's seemingly a current (or former, who knows at this point) Vudoo employee on FB blasting people for having an opinion in the absence of a well managed message, the writing is on the wall....but it may have been on the wall before all this....

Carry on, Gentlemen....

Sorry David, but there's nothing wrong with the @68hoyt post and many others like it. The fear and doubt is fueled elsewhere and what's happening here and many other forums/social media is a typical response to the absence of upfront, credible, information. People have hard earned dollars invested with zero information and no ability to contact anyone. And let's say these guys ride this out and end up with "something." What exactly will it be? Will they be able to trust it? Will they be satisfied with the money spent based on the experience? Unfortunately, the list is long and the court of public opinion has convened.

Not trying to ruffle your feathers, just want to keep things in perspective for the sake of the community.

Only had one issue with a brand new rifle where replacement parts were needed (firing pin) out of 3 vudoos I owned

I can see the logic behind having extra on hand especially now with all this. But I'm also confident mine will keep shooting like they have been last 5 years with proper maintenance

Are these guns just breaking left and right?
No, not what i meant. But if you're cleaning it one day and find a broken part or decide to change the moa of the rail....whatever. it'd be nice to know there were options for finding that part. This is my only concern about the new not really released news of their possible continued existence.

If they are moving to Oklahoma something tells me they already have something worked out. With the amount of business in the precision rifle community in Oklahoma it shouldn’t be that hard to get set up especially if some of the builders are involved.

Never know and I definitely didn’t see this coming. Just got two more rifles in a few months ago.
