Well, it's really hard to come across now, and goes for upwards of $10 an oz. I collected my stash over the years, and it all has slam dunk provenance proving it's pre-ban. I have over 2 gallons of different grades, with the winter pressed being the finest.
I found it at garage sales, school auctions, clock/watchmakers auctions, and on occasion Ebay. It's fantastic stuff. Makes the guns smell like a queef, but I've grown used to the smell and it brings back fond memories of times I've shot the shit out of those guns. It's actually a wax, and not an oil. It's the best stuff there is for CCH.
I have dealt in animal products for awhile. You think NFA items are a pain in the ass? Look at the hoops for Ivory (elephant and walrus), tortoise shell, etc. Gotta be careful or you'll get your stuff confiscated and pay some hefty fines or jail, lol.
I have 3 elephant tusks left after the stupid fucking ivory ban, and I am hoarding them for gun grips and knife handles for myself and family.
