Maggie’s What happened to the 6.5 guys?

I love seeing all the expensive toys people have it just gives me a goal to shoot for in the future . Who wants to only see the single hand press video over and over though , it could be neat if your into that sort of like hand model thing , you think its a pretty girl but you will never know for sure .
I would love to have 1/2 his ability to reload in my apt making my own barrels and ammo would be maybe more than the land lord would be willing to put up with my very own production line for ammo 10 thousand rounds per hour lol . Move out the furniture and move in 9 dillions running 24 -7 Id loose my mind what ever little is left .

Gavin in to building his own rifles even chambering them. I can for see him milling out his own custom action and building the whole barreled action from scratch

They got bored, They made so much noise about the 6.5 now there's nothing to brag about.

I kinda hate them, i like gavin from ultimate reloader better. It seems like everytime i have the need to look into something that dude puts out a video explaining exactly what i was looking for almost like he was reading my mind

Gavin just seems to be an advertisement for reloading gear. No real functional reviews or real world info.

I can get the same information that he presents from a sales brochure. I don't understand why he's so popular.

I'm American but I know quality when I see it. Hornady rips off the T/C 30 case, necks it down for 6.5 and with a little marketing every falls over them selves to buy it. Lapua designed there cartridge from the ground up to be a winner

I nominate this post for the "most stupid things ever heard" thread

Your conclusion that Lapua's cartridge is somehow better because "they started from scratch" is what's stupid
No its better for a variety of reasons but that isn't one of them. Hornady is all about creating meme cartridges for the tacticool douche bag. 6 arc being one of them. LOL you are prolly one of the guys claiming he can drop a bull elk with his mighty 6.5 creedmoor at 1000 yds cuz it glides bro

Exactly my issue with him. You would be hard-pressed to convince me that he is not being paid. His videos seem like infomercials.

Every video he produces is about selling a product, not a true review. I have never heard him say a negative thing about a company. In fact, he calls them "Partners". What does that tell you?

He rarely shoots on the channel. He builds "PRS" guns but has only posted one video about shooting in a match. He posts a five second clip of himself shooting a "one hole" group.

The truth is he is the ULTIMATE SHILL.

I have nothing against the guy, I went into it with an open mind. With all the positive reviews of his content I thought, "cool, I can find some actual qualitative and quantitative reviews of reloading gear, to see what works and what doesn't, and how that may help me downrange". I was sorely disappointed, he provides no such information. With all the gear he has, there's no testing to show what gear may improve precision, ES/SD, and other factors that we as reloaders are looking for.

Like you say, its just one big informercial. Literally no information that I would find useful beyond what the manufacturers are saying to sell their products. The overall quality of his videos are top notch, the content is just garbage. It's a shame that he can't provide real information that may help us steer towards certain products to get a performance gain.

Again, I have nothing against the guy. How he runs his channel is obviously working for him, so who am I to say that he should be doing something differently. I personally just find him to be lacking any real substance, there's no information in his content that I can use in any meaningful way. I don't understand how he is so popular, but hey, maybe people just like toy porn.

Looking at the machinery in the back of his videos do you really think he needs or cares about sponsors?

When I first started hand loading I watched his reload videos and it helped. But he has been at it for 12 years and is at 100k subs, 60 percent showed up in the last 2 years. I think he switched to what is making him money. Which is fine I still like his stuff

Hornady is all about making money.

And they're pretty good at it.

I never said anything about sponsorships.

My gripe is that he doesn't provide any information that I can't get directly from the manufacturer. I couldn't care less what his relationship is with the reloading gear companies, I just want information that I can use.

Will my reloads on 'X' equipment have better precision then if made on 'Y' equipment? Will the ES/SD be better? Is the runout less?

He provides no real information that would better inform me as a consumer.

Post pictures of a loaded round. Also does it have adidias logo on the case???
No, no headstamp the machinery used to produce the brass is normally used is located in brooklyn and normally makes locally sourced fair-trade organic artisan pickles.
So we had to leave the headstamp off for opsec.
