Stopping gun crime in major cities is not rocket science. Known demographic is committing most of the crime, you target that demographic and then incarcerate with enhancements for having illegal firearms while committing other crimes. Problem will be reduced. Has worked in past. ( stop and frisk) Unfortunately profiling is considered bad . Hint the correct demographic is not waisting your time auditing gun dealers or gun shows.
