Interesting sentiment but if we couldnt do it in 20 years its unlikely to get done now. Lets just get our people out.

Even knowing that Bidet is a full asshole and likely owned by the Chinese I am still almost in shock that Bidet would allow this...what a fucking slap and insult to all our troops who sacrificed. This motherfucker needs impeached and tried for treason, and imprisoned for the rest of his un natural life.

Where are Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Henry et.al. when we need them now? Spinning in their graves I expect.

I cant imagine that he truly thinks anyone in the position to do anything about the current situation is going to listen to what he suggests. Its just Jocko getting something off his chest and being default agressive. I posted the link as more of a nod to Jocko and all other active and former servicemen for their sacrfices. I am tired of hearing politicians and other decision makers call for action now that the shit show in Afganistan has completely unravelled. I didnt serve in the military but pretty much the only people I want to hear from right now is the patriotic men and women who served in the middle east and have earned the right to sound off on this topic.

I think maybe that was part of the problem; we assumed "these types" would be our knights in shining armor and save our nation if the Constitution was being sh*t on, you know, the tree of Liberty stuff.

Get everyone we have in every one of those countries out. Redeploy elsewhere or come back home. Warn every country there to police themselves of radical elements, because next time we will just flatten their entire country to rubble if we find out they let terrorists operate within.

If they want to kill each other while we're gone, win-win.

Why isn't Biden and Harris at the airport negotiating directly with the Taliban , what are they afraid of since all the terrorist organizations are diminished. I think when Biden said he wanted to take Trump behind the gym to beat him up he really just wanted to beat him off.

Any of you guys that actually have some experience can correct me if I’m thinking wrong.

honestly I don’t believe it would be much a stretch for our military to do exactly what he said.

fly into airbases/ airports. Kill anyone that so much as breathes in the wrong direction. Send convoys in to pull people out with the loosest of all ROE’s same for the air support above. Overwhelming force, shock and awe. We don’t need 20yrs to pull people out.

we need a couple weeks of, we are getting our people out, fuck around and find out.

It would have been a lot more feasible before Joe gave them a lot of SAM type rockets, helicopter's, god knows what else, etc, etc.

a couple week shock and awe campaign would put their dicks the dirt. Humvees and MRAPs just make good target practice.

Joe fuck it up so bad that he gave them our weapons, he sent the Military into a surround perimeter that he has no options but to do what the Taliban tells him. You would lose a lot of civilian life if you decide to go to guns. If the Taliban are surrounding the airport would you drop in behind that perimeter so then the Taliban would be trapped between two lines of fire from the Marines inside the airport and behind the Taliban. Not the best scenario for fighting but away to strand the Taliban from escaping the kill zone.
