My prediction as a lawyer who did criminal defense work in a past life to include a televised trial. I suspect we will get a verdict tomorrow so everyone can be done with this before the weekend. Even in a slam dunk case the jury does not want to rush out with a verdict and give the appearance that they did not give proceedings proper consideration.

Of course if i was on the panel and returning with a not guilty, I might consider waiting till Monday so not to give a charge going into a weekend where more people may decided to go out and riot.

Sat on a jury for a gun related case for a couple of days, when we hit the jury room within 10 seconds who's for guilty on the one charge and not guilty on the other. Fives minutes elapse time the most, everyone just wanted to go home.

In the televised trial you were involved in did the prosecution use a rifle to threaten the jury? Were the jurors in that trial made to know that if they returned the wrong verdict their neighborhood would burn?

If they acquit I'll be proud of them. If I was on the jury ide have my wife and kids in another state living under another name. I'll be impressed if they aquit.
