FYI those appear to be for the single stack mags, not the CTR/a1 mag. Check out the comments below each product.

Is that a 20 or 24 incher? Nice rig.

    Lapping your rings

How would you know if your receiver is a few thousands off? The potential issues rest in the unknowns, not the knowns.

    Lapping your rings

Doesn’t matter how perfectly machined your rings are if they’re being bolted to pic rail that is being distorted by imperfect factory receiver scope mount threading. Four #6 screws can most definitely distort even a HD steel pic rail. There is a reason nearly every builder will blueprint a...

    Tikka T1X Chassis

Found where I heard the magwell was attached to the receiver. Tikka's rep covered it in a SHOT show webcast. "The magazine well actually is already attached into the receiver... Not attached to the trigger group like the t3/t3x. This even makes it more easable(?) to make these...

    Tikka T1X Chassis

My understanding is that the magazine catch is attached to the receiver-bolted magwell, not on the trigger guard assembly (ala cz 452/453/455. If that’s true, it could live inside a ctr/aics pattern magwell. Won’t know from sure into someone has one in-hand.

Rifle Scopes First build - need advice

Also enlarged ejection port, improved rail attachment, interchangeable grip panels and improved checkering/texture. All here: http://www.tikka.fi/en-us/rifles/tikka-t3x

    tikka t3x accuracy

I have two t3 lite's and two t3x lite's. All mine are easily sub MOA with decent (and in some cases, cheap) factory ammo.

CTR, and spend the leftover funds on the scope. Then grab a stock down the road when it's use is better defined.

    Another 22 trainer scope question

I recently snagged a ACME Machine 6-24 for my build in progress – it's FFP, MOA/MOA and parallax down to 10y. No zero stop, but it's only $300 on sale. According to ACME, it's made in the same factory as Athlon's optics. At first blush, the glass is actually quite nice. My turrets are pretty...

KRG Bravo for CTR that can take TRG/CTR mags?

This has not been my experience. Quite the opposite, actually. Also, MDT mags have a shorter max OAL (2.80" vs CTR mag's 2.95"), which is problematic with rounds like 6.5 CM. Only thing keeping me from ordering a Bravo is TRG/CTR mag compatibility. Sounds like it's workable if you mill, grind...

Cadex and McCree are the two chassis I know about that have CTR/TRG mag versions. B&C, Manners and McMillan all have CTR inlets. EuroOptic and a few other stock CTR drop-in stocks.

    Tikka T3 Thread

What says the Hide regarding CTR/TRG mags vs. AICS mags? OAL is identical without the AICS binder plate. Already have 3 CTR mags, and they run fantastic, but am wondering if I should make the switch to AICS with the Manners DBMTK mini chassis, or stick with the CTR mags/bottom metal and get the...
